can you do a presentation about how magnets do not interfere with cell phone, wifi and/or RF signals? Apparently a magnet does not interfere, according to a couple of searches online such as "do magnets interfere with cell phone signal". But I would like to know why. Perhaps your previous experience working with magnets and experimentation could provide some clearity on the topic.
2:05 would be more useful when driving because you might not always put your phone right in front of you, it might be off to the side or perhaps someone on the passenger seat is holding it and telling you which way to go

I would be leery though. As you mention in the blog, it might magnetize internal parts of the phone with undesirable effects. Also, it obviously incapacitates wireless charging.

ive used a magnet mount for 2 years on my huawei mate 10 pro and had no problems.

Do magnetic mounts affect battery life ?
I have just bought a new samsunga20e phone and obtained a lovely leather belt pouch from ebay, whfantastic quality with exquisite leather..however when I slid the phone in whilst locked I noticed the phone switched itself on, I removed phone as I first thought the phone had a faulty switch or something it soon transpired it was the case ,the closing magnets on the flap were causing the phone to switch itself on, I had the phone on the belt pouch all day and thought it was strange the new phones battery was well run down, now I know why...wallet heading back to the seller..shame it was a lovely item

nothing to do with mounting messing up devices, false video
not for everyone. my samsung's s7 memory got damage some how using magent mount in the car. i'm not 100% sure, but it could be the reason

The magnet on my coolpad legacy case was freezing my screen n the phone wouldn't respond till I turned off the screen n turned it back on n then after a bit less than a minute again

@@gotterfunken lol been using a magnetic phone holder for the past 3 years with my Samsung Galaxy S8. Come at me.
@@gotterfunken As you said generally. However magnets can't affect amoled displays, lithium-ion batteries and modern chips so there is no real reason to avoid magnetic phone holders on any 2015+ smartphone. Not to mention magnetic phone holders aren't nearly as powerful to mess with electronics, since it doesn't harm your speaker for example.

Does it mess with your phone? I've been using a steelie nite ize phone mount on a motorola edge and the phone goes retarded with GPS if you don't hold it it won't navigate.

Well I’m here because I just got an Apple phone 8 and realized that the top area where the cam is located where you put your ear when you answer the phone is magnetic it picked up very light metal like what you use for Christmas ornaments I’m like huh? Is that even dangerous for my ear?....
The thing you use to hand the ornament and it picked up a 50 cent ring I bought
