I have it on a dark blue fabric (not NATO) strap. The one with holes and a buckle. Compared to the S series, this one is pretty heavy with the SS bracelet and it is, like you said, very noisy. The moment you swap your bracelet, it easily becomes your daily driver.
I own this watch and love it. I believe the watch and bracelet are titanium oxide coated for scratch resistance which gives it a slightly warmer color than plain stainless.
I have a Casio Oceanus from 1985, It was one of the first 'proper' watches I ever bought when I first started working and started earning money. Its in a drawer now and i don't use it much but I'll never get rid of it.
@@bogdantureac4662 Or simply the « I don’t feel like spending 5Gs on a watch man ». More seriously, I’ve had a spring bar randomly break before, sending my watch plummet to the ground... Wearing expensive watches can be dangerous xD
I bought mine on vacation in Japan last year and still really enjoy it. The Bluetooth feature is really nice and time sync is more reliable than Multiband 6 as it works anywhere in the world. Auto adjusting when in a new time zone is almost like magic. Size is perfect for my 7.5" wrist and the slightly flexible (some call it rattly) bracelet makes it very comfortable to wear. I used to have the S100 but prefer this T200 in steel with slightly more weight and a bit nicer looking materials. I know you have and review many watches but maybe keep it for a while instead of flipping it right away.
I've been wearing this watch for 3 months now. I wear it when swimming, when doing wood works in making furnitures and even when going to bed. And i'm really impressed. I can't see any scratches in the case. I already started to wonder what kind of finishing does casio did in this watch. Its really a great value watch.
I have this watch and the T3000. Both are amazing watches. Connect to the Bluetooth and done. I prefer this one, since i find the T3000 dial "too busy".
The S100 is the better option due to the Titanium case and bracelet, so much warmer and more comfortable against the skin. Also the weight is considerably less than the stainless steel T200. The case thickness of the T200 seems to be slightly deeper, no doubt to accommodate the raised dial batons. The lack of Bluetooth on the S100 is not really a problem since there are free mobile phone apps that can replicate the radio time signal anywhere in the world and the watch will lock on to the phone audio signal and correct the time. Either the S100 or the T200 are fantastic watches with a very sleek dial hiding a technological masterpiece. Literally a set once and forget forever type of watch which will run indefinitely so long as it is exposed to light and correct itself daily. Even in the absence of a time correction signal it will only gain or lose a maximum of 15 seconds a month. The case finishing on both versions is excellent. An absolute bargain if you can get hold of one for around $500 including shipping and taxes. Interestingly, even though the watch is intended solely for the Japanese domestic market, my S100 includes CE and UK compliance markings etched on the back.
I have the light blue dial, and I love it. An easy contender for a one-watch collection! I don't think the bracelet's that bad. It's not as rattly as a pressure pin bracelet.
After watching your videos on this watch many, many times, I finally pulled the trigger and purchased it. The Oceanus lineup has always been on my radar and I'm looking forward to owning this piece. If money was no object it would be the OCW-S4000s...One day Thanks, Rob!
I own this watch. It is hard to show the finishing on camera. They are rumored to be finished in the same lab as Grand Seiko. You receive a certificate showing it was made on the "Premium Production Line" by specially chosen medalists. Only the best can work on this line. I will also say that my bracelet doesn't rattle.
I like the Oceanus so much that I bot the S100 n also the T200 a few weeks later. Rotate among the 2 n retired my Rolexes. Am very impressed with the Oceanus brand.
I couldn't decide between this one and the S100... So I caved and bought both. They arrive tomorrow. I ended up buying them on Amazon from a seller called "Last Samurai", which charged a bit more but had no other hidden fees, and shipped DHL (which apparently is the only way to ship from Japan to US right now). Hi great travel watch I would definitely get if I travelled more. One time adjustment auto, two not very expensive so no theft or custom problems. 3 the solar battery is a great feature , had a citizen and it never failed.

I purchased a watch directly from Sakura and had no issues or extra fees or charges. It was an easy, pleasant experience. Sounds like another reason to avoid eBay; never been a fan.
I guess I'm strange. Never once have I tried to "rattle" a watch bracelet while it off my wrist nor had a watch bracelet rattle when on my wrist. So I think it's odd to discuss rattling a bracelet. Multiband does not "constantly" update. It tries, between Midnight and roughly 6 AM to receive the radio-correction signal. If received, it does not try to receive the signal until the following evening.
I had the light blue version and it's probably one of my picks for a perfect grab-and-go watch. I love that it can link to your phone via Bluetooth to update the timekeeping. I think my biggest problem with the watch is that the finishing is too nice. I couldn't really see myself using this watch as a watch to go out and be active and possibly have the watch get all scratched up. I think this one looks better without any wear and tear on it. Bracelet wasn't too bad for me and I think it didn't weigh much, whether that is considered good or bad is up to you. Ultimately, I ended up selling it and buying a Citizen Promaster Diver. Nobody wants tech in a watch like that
Yeah we do,it's awesome, and way better than any automatic POS
Im not buying any watch that has the word “anus” incorporated into its name
That's what she said
Well you didn’t hold the button for 2 seconds to begin.
I like the watch a lot, I just have a bit of a problem with the fact they call this Oceanus and then combine it with 10bar instead of 20bar water resistance. Managing expectations
Should be Landanus?
