That was a very informative video, thank you very much. I have a question here, for such complex structures, can these parametric models be transferred to structural analysis software like Robot to be analysed (do they have an analytical model)? Or are they only for architectural use?

Thanks a lot for the great video, really appreciate your effort. Could you please advise if the parametric truss vary ( small, big) across the reference line instead of staying constant?

Anyway about your question:
obviously, If the parametric truss detached from your work place or reference line will be not constant. By create or make parametric truss make sure when start create your parameter truss your work place & reference line (Truss component) are the same size.
My suggestions: if truss is detached from its work plane, you can set this parameter. Start Level Offset, Specifies the vertical offset from the Reference Level for the start point of the location line.

Hello, very good video thanks! I just wanted to know if theres a way to offset the curtain panel (glass panel) so that its separated from the steel, to be able to generate a mass that has the steel structure with panels placed on top, so that from the outside the steel structure is not visible. For reference check out the Heydar Aliyev project from Zaha Hadid. Please a quick response would be great because I have a deadline haha :)

@@RevitGlobalKnowledge HI. What i meant . how to use default system framing family like. universal beam, Rectangular hollow section , equal angle etc. with Parametric truss. if i want to create the similar shape structure shown in this video with proper system family and required sizes .
