    Living alone was the dumbest decision of my life i swear.I relate to this episode a lot, I remember a time when i was so fucking lazy to make myself a meal I didn’t eat for 1 and half day and i was just drinking water the whole time and binge watching Netflix and surprisingly enough i wasn’t even that hungry and so i freaked out a little bit when i realised I didn’t eat anything, so i boiled a big potato just because i was scared that i was gonna die( still lazy to make myself a nice meal at that point) 💀💀💀 that incident surprised me, the extent broo….. i can literally watch Netflix for 2 days and not eat💀💀

      Same!! like I didn't know I could sleep for 12 hours continuously and then eat a bag of chips and Oreos and drink a glass of water and sleep again!! I'm so glad I'm living with my parents again💀

      Can relate to this so much although i live in a hostel when i didn't had any roommate i use to eat one meal only somedays as i was sooo lazy to just go downstairs and eat at mess all i did except for studing was laying in bed and watching crap! I think this mentality of living alone is very overrated living independently does not mean you have to stay alone !

    I have been a messy gal since childhood because I have always been too occupied mentally, in survival mode, seeking emotional safety and solving everything in my head from the age of perhaps as a 8 yr old kid, and I was shamed for being disorganized and now I am in my 20s, I am still told I am not organized, but now I don't organize out of rebellion and dont feel like doing it just to to be a good girl. People who are mixed up mentally, don't give a damn about cleaning and decorating their surroundings everyday. 1 baar karlia in a month, that's more than enough. 3 months is the longest duration I didn't clean up the clutter in my room while living abroad alone,, half my bed was covered with random stuff, the whole floor was covered with random stuff, by 3rd month I didn't have a spot to step my feet on the floor bcz it was covered with stuff. But I was depressed for months, I didn't clean up the clutter, and then I did because I needed space to walk and get to the other side of the room.

      This was cathartic to read. I wish I was wired different but the mess is what it is. Literally my bed is covered with things outside the amount of space it takes for a person to lie down 😂

    can someone please explain the reason behind muslim couples not getting a house ?

    • @dev_s21
      @dev_s21 7 місяців тому +6

      Islamophobia

    • @Kathakathan11
      @Kathakathan11 16 годин тому

      Even Marathi people are not allowed in South Indian society, there are many such things. I was said not to rent the house as I am Hindu and the place I wanted was mohollah, the broker only told me to not even search for it. I wanted to be there as my ngo school was there nearby.
      My Muslim friend was also told not to take a rental flat near my Pune new job, and the reason was that the owner of the flat was that they don’t want Muslim or Christians as they want to keep their Pooja room intact and want to take care of it.
      My mother’s neighbour also has a Pooja room, and she shifted for the job, so she rented to only Bengali Hindu, not even my mother’s other North Indian frond was considered.
      And I understand that, it’s better to have these preferences if such things exist.
      But otherwise they shouldn’t have any criteria…
      I also have a Muslim neighbour and they will never rent to Hindu person as they have decorated their house too nice and they don’t want anyone to install puja idols in their house.
      Understandable I guess again.
      As a single woman at that time, I always carried my holy books and I wouldn’t stay in home that wasn’t ready to keep them.

    Is podcasting the next fad thing in India. Every one is doing that as per my you tube algorithm.
    I guess it's so sad that physical conversations are so rare now because we all are glied to our phones that now we are watching other people talking on our mobile screens.
    I am currently living in a suburb in usa and honestly with the cosmopolitan crowd I have in my rental apartment it's hard to make any social group. My neighbours are Algerian speak broken English ,others are balkan Muslims from Albania and Kosovo.
    The only Indian people I have are from down south who always socialise in their own community clusters.
    I guess the loneliness ake is more glied to our cellphones.
    I think India is soon catching up with this apartment BHK style lifestyle which alienated us from a neighbourhood culture.
    Sad that we are transforming into this AI ,ALGORITHM DRIVEN LIFE
