After we rent it, we will head to the mountains: Doi Suthep and Doi Pui and we will explore around this incredible area.
Nature in Northern Thailand is simply amazing!

I love this small village! I visited just 4 days ago :-) You can enjoy the sunset from the cafe bar, above the waterfall. Not exist in google maps, but still there!
Thank you Gabi,. Nice to see Thailand with the bike .. really another point of view. I have been to Chang Mai many years ago, even though my favorite area remains Phuket .. I would really gladly live there, when this age of the virus is over.

That's a good deal for a big bike. For an old guy like me, I prefer Honda Wave 110i as I don't ride faster than 80 kmk/hr nowadays due to old age.
Thank you. Yes. What Pha Lat is really a great ptemple to see. We saw it in march 2020. We were 6 tourist and 2 guides. I remember there was people building something new but I don't know what it was. There wasn't enough water to see waterfall.... It was almost dry.

It’s called Mr. Mechanic, very near to Thapae Gate.
I also went to check at the two biggest motorbike rentals in Chiang Mai: Pop bikes, and CP bikes.
Yes they have many more big bikes to chose from, but I found that Mr. Mechanic has a better price and the staff was more welcoming to me compared to those other places.

I SEE THE CURRENT PROBLEMS IN GOING TO PATTAYA. I ALWAYS STAY AT THE SIAM BAYSHORE HOTEL AND I STAY FOR 2 WEEKS. I FLY EVA AIR. HERE'S THE QUESTION: DO I HAVE TO GET RETESTED TO BE ABLE TO FLY BACK TO AMERICA? IF YES, DO I TEST IN PATTAYA OR GET TEST IN BANGKOK?

Hello Sam, after you go through the 1-night test and go in Bangkok, you don’t have any more restrictions around Thailand. So you can fly easily anywhere in the kingdom.
Regarding Phuket to Bangkok, I took a flight there. I would suggest to do the same as they are quite cheap 😉

Holla amigo, in some previous video about Phuket i saw police check were they stoped tourist on scooters.
So could u make a video or explain what are the documents/insurance u have to bring with u when driving rented scooter and avoid police ticket scams.
And most important thing about what happens if make a accident with thai citizen.
Yes, that would be good information, 1000 baht a day to rent the bike, but if you have an accident I doubt yourl be covered for any damage to the bike, yourself or third party......
@@baz69er13 yes 1000 baht a day doesn’t include any insurance.
If they stop you, they want to see your international driving license. Insurance in Thailand is not mandatory so they will not ask for it.
But if you get into an accident, is not as clear and regulated as it is in the west. The most common solution is to pay out of your pocket, for your damages and for the damages of the other person, if it’s your fault.
The most important thing is to call the police immediately so they will assess the situation.
This is the problem with renting motorbikes in Thailand, your not insured & if you kill someone, you better have very deep pockets, even if its not your fault you still may be liable, my advise is to make sure your travel insurance covers you to ride a motorcycle & that you have a licence to ride one, wear a decent helmet & don't ride while under the influence of alcohol or drugs......
We had to cancel our Thailand holiday, all air travel from South Africa has been banned and Thailand has also closed their borders to our country due to a new covid variant.

Hello, that price doesn’t include insurance.

Click and select the “accident insurance”. Then it will show you different policies and it will compare them for you, so you can choose the best one.
Unfortunately you can’t do the “motorbike insurance” as that one is valid only if you own a motorbike in Thailand.

You will have to take your chances when renting a motorbike while on a 2 week holiday etc, i rented a bike for 4 months (Very Cheap) before & i knew the risks etc , the bike was old & if the bike was stolen or was unrepairable the cost for to me to replace was considerably much more than what the bike was worth & you also wouldn't be covered if you was in a serious accident for yourself or a third party, i eventually bought my own bike & apart from the standard government insurance, i also took out a separate insurance to cover me fully along with a bike test to get a Thai bike Licence, you can also convert your own bike licence from your home country ( This also applies for a Car licence ) so if your just staying for just a holiday i would weight up the risks as it could turn out to a very expensive one, this is not just Thailand but in many parts of the world, so don't be ignorant & make sure your covered.....
