Something i didnt note is that reboot can't craft cubes / flames apparently xd, meaning profession just serves as a dps booster from the skills in smithing / alchemy.
Hey Waffles, I know you aint been posting that much lately, but that's okay. Just wanted to say I come back to this video like, multiple times a year, thanks for the great guide.
*No one* : *Google* : The word herb began being used in the 1300s. It came from the Old French word erbe, which came from the Latin word, herba. When herb came into being, Latin had lost its H sound, and it also was not pronounced in French. So, originally, herb didn't have the H sound.
Crafting is either bugged or majorly changed right now. The cooldown of craftable items on a character (such as flames) will only go down when online on said character. This hasn't been noted in any of the patch notes or update logs, so either it is unintended or a very sloppy change on nexon's behalf. Very nice guide nontheless, wish I had this before I went on a tough journey to figure everything out myself ;_;
if i were to get to Meister rank on a profession such as Smithing and get the level 12 meister skill for Smithing, do i lose the meister skill if i were to change profession to alchemy or accessory?
something i'm still not clear on is: is it possible to drop from Meister back to master (I get that you can drop from master to level 10)? reason i'm asking is because I'm not a regular maple player and go off to play other games for extremely long periods of times (sometimes upwards of 1-1.5 years before i open maple again) so if its possible to lose meister i'm just going to have to drop doing professions at level 10 altogether cause I 100% don't have the heart to grind meister every time I come back
As is the reality of maple, your mastery will decay regardless of if your meister or master. it won't go lower than level 10, but if your meister and don't craft anything for long enough, you will lose it.
hello then, I am new, with last time play MS in 2009. All is new for, especiall the Profession. But I am interested in the Alchemy Profession because I can drink two buff options at a time. however, you mentioned recipes in you video. I play in GMSR, so that mean I have to do spcial monsters farming to get recipes?
Outside of exp and wealth accumulations, the only other potions people in reboot / nonreboot shoot for are the stat potion x. So for majority of the exp and wealth accumulation recipes. you can eventually find em from daily / weekly bosses. As for the stat specific ones, you need both the base and the adv variant. The adv variant is permanent and you can find em from these specific monsters. Str - Yeti in El Nath Dex - Jr. Newtie in Leafre Int - Thunder - Future Ereve Luk - Ghost Pirate - Ludibrium Now that's for the hard part. The easier part is getting the basic variants, which are part of crafting the adv variant stat potions that last for 30 minutes as opposed to the 15 that basics last for. These can be found from... Str - Castle Golems in Lion Heart Castle Dex - Blaze in Future Ereve Int - Mutant Slimes in Future Ereve Luk - Castle Golems in Lion Heart Castle It's been a while since I've farmed for them myself, and I don't know if Reboot changes anything in regards to professions, since my guide is tailored to what knowledge I have as a Non-Reboot Player. Good luck.
So I have returned to MapleStory after a few years out and find a whole lot of changes. What I need to know is do the recipes for making armor and making potions matter anymore? I could sure use the storage but I will save them if they are necessary
Some Recipes are still important but most are just not useful now a days. Here are some I personally hold on to. Deimos Shield Recipes from Empress Cygnus Wealth Acquisition and EXP Accumulation Potions from Daily Bosses Stat increase potion Recipes from specific monsters Unfortunately most of the other recipes are just things you don't really consider important in the line of progression. Regardless Profession is still important not just for the recipes but also for the unique perks each of the crafting professions give.
Assuming your nonreboot, Alchemy and Accessory crafting both are more profitable compared to smithing, as cubes from smithing are not tradable. Accessory crafting gain access to selling powerful and Eternal Rebirth flames, along with meister rings if you are lucky to pick up a primal essence. Alchemy has potential to be profitable as well! As you gain access to not only crafting Boss rush boost potions, but you also gain access to crafting EXP Accumulation Potions, Wealth Aquisition Potions, and Stat potions. Which often are used in all types of activities in maplestory, from farming to bossing!
you said -400 mastery points every day at level 10 - master craftsman and you said meister drops every 17 hours, but what is the rest how much mastery drops from master craftsman to meister craftsman and how often or how much mastery drops at meister craftsman in that 17 hour time? other than that thank you for this ill be keeping this favorited to refer to
Not sure if this answers your question but basically, lets say you craft an item that gives you mastery. After that you wait 17 hours, nothing will happen to your mastery until during this time. Once those 17 hours have passed, you will start to lose 400 mastery per hour. This rate doesnt change as far as i know
after 17-18 hours of not crafting anything that will give you mastery, you will start to lose 400 mastery per hour. Dropping down to level 10 at lowest.
you can get them by refining flowers, seeds or ores. but your more than likely gonna get alot of them from harvesting the exotic herbs out in the hunting fields.
Noob question here, [Regular-Server] If I unlearn alchmy lv6 then learn something else, Will I lost my alchemy progression when I back to be alchemist agian ? Thanks
No, All cubes, or at least majority of the master craftsman and meister cubes that you come across in your journey, or craft, are untradable or transferable within the account only. Originally you could be able to sell these but that has been removed.
You find herbs in the bottom right of ardentmill, the portal takes you to the harvesting map. Alternatively, you can find the exotic herbs / veins while out in the hunting fields (doing your dailies for example). The exotic herbs like Gold flower / Heartstone will give you a bunch of materials
someone for the love of god please tell me how i open my fucking god damn profession screen so i can see what fucking level my mining skill is at for fucks sake
there should be a keybind for it. If you can't find it, go to ardentmill and click on the smithing / mining station, it`ll open up your profession window for you to check your stats. Mining, Herbalism, and craft Stats, along with your trait levels. Good luck
Should have probably added that reboot cant craft cubes or flames
I'm not familiar with reboot xd
Does reboot still get the ability to fuse for T7 flames from meister alchemy?
@@BarbeqdBrwniez yes. But you cant craft them.
Now that crafting doesn't degrade, i've returned to this amazing guide!
Bro I’ve rewatched this gem many times over for new characters 😂💯💯
This was super helpful! As a Reboot player, I really appreciate you including which rules apply and which doesn’t
Something i didnt note is that reboot can't craft cubes / flames apparently xd, meaning profession just serves as a dps booster from the skills in smithing / alchemy.
2 years later and this is still very useful! Thanks for the guide!!!! :D
I always avoided professions because they were intimidating. Now I get it

Its a halloween themed, phantom cash shop equip called the vampire phantom hat.
Can we get any mastery from converting potions to pills nowadays? I bought some recipe but those were adding 0 mastery...
You should still get mastery, if you don't get mastery, it probably means you are crafting potions that are too low mastery.
