Your results look great! I will only trim off the very tips of my hair if I see splits. My hair is long and thick, and My hair routine is to have my husband trim my hair every couple months. He combs it out, sections it, pins it up and then starts trimming the bottom layer, then lets my hair down in increments. When he trims the sections in front, he has me turn my head to each side like you did. My elbow length hair is wavy, but I wish I had curls like yours. I have my husband give me different braids, and I have so many styling options.
