I'm from Guaratinguetá, a small town in the interior of São Paulo. Dilermando Reis was born here, the composer of this pearl, wonderfully performed by Xuefei Yang. It is admirable that, appreciated in various parts of the world, even in China, on the other side of the planet, Dilermando is unknown to the vast majority of people who live here...an exuberant performance by Xuefei.
I have been playing classical guitar for over 30 years and Xuefei has been the reference for so many pieces I play. If you want to hear the gold standard, she is it. Amazing vibrato, rubato, timing and feel. Her musicality is well above many of her peers. Thank you Xuefei for showing us all how it should be done.
