How can a lightsaber fight scene cost 10M$... There are literally hundreds of lightsaber fights fan videos and i'm pretty sure a dude in his garage doesn't have 10M$ to waste on it. The special effects are minimal. Disney, where is the money going??? Certainly not on the screen that's for sure, and not in the writing room either.

I started writing a Star Wars fan fiction a couple years back. I had a dream of approaching Disney with it and trying to get it published. It was after the release of the Last Jedi that I realized the woke idiots in charge of Star Wars would never let my story see the light of day, so I'm re-doing the whole thing from the ground up in a universe of my own making.
I will gladly subscribe to and PAY for the absolute worst "Fan-fiction" before I EVER pay for any programming from Disney or Disney+.

What doesn't make sense to me is that at the end of the day Disney answers to shareholders. There is no way shareholders are going to allow this complete destruction of Star Wars to keep happening. Iger will eventually be forced to fire KK.

I saw the first episode of the Acolyte and when a assasins killed the Jedi Master, i was like WTF, HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?. I watched the second episode and felt like something was off and i found several videos about how suck the Acolyte was. Efter i watched the disaster of the Acolyte i stop watch the rest of them. It was a good decission and thank you guys for great advice. It really ruined the famous Star Wars. I hope Disney learn from this and do better....😃

Given the runtimes and the budget involved it's pretty obvious that scenes have been cut. Whether that's due to quality or creative issues is rather a mute point. They've tried to drag the scenes that did get the green light over the four hours. Terrible job, many of those scenes are reiterations of points already made and dead air that does nothing for the show. Absurd walking and talking, bad dialogue in corridors, the Osha/Jecki pointless scenes just to name a few.
i really hope that this series shows the disney board that they should NOT renew Kennedy's contract and give her walking papers. how much money can she lose disney before they throw her overboard

Money used on wasted scenes and effects still is counted in the final budget. It’s why marvel movies are so astronomically expensive - it’s been reported as much as 50-70 % of cgi work is all for nothing bc of exec bs. So it wouldn’t tack on to the budget is all.
Prior to this last episode, I had given up watching them... stopped... that's it... no more... BUT I find it so much more entertaining watching a grand variety of UA-camrs like MZ who comment about the episodes.

ep 5 was a lot better and the fight scenes were good, but it still had ridiculous moments that just ruined it. The tree's falling the wrong way, Jedi knights/masters struggling against the sith and yet Jecki held her own, Jecki and the sith looking at her second saber turn on for 5 seconds, then Jecki dying with a blank expression, the moths carrying him, him saying he was a sith, the haircut.. too many problems.
Manny Jacinto was great in The Good Place. A completely different, and very funny, character.
