John Wick is a man who follows the teachings of the Old Testament Bible, that's why he is so "lucky", which in other words means: The Protection of the True God.
I love how the premise of the films start with John making this huge deal over a dog "It's just a fucking dog!" But by the time we get to the 3rd movie, if all these little rules and codes (same as Johns love for the last gift his deceased wife gave him) none of the issues would be happening for the high table or anyone else. If they just turned the other cheek and just let this one man walk after the first or second film and didn't make a huge deal, then so many of their aches would be solved. Same with Johns, but I think that's the beauty of it, all of this violence is death is our own making, by choosing to place emphasis on things we should've just let go.
The thing is John already has made peace with the last relative of Viggo that being his brother.But the happening of the second John Wick and third John Wick is because of Santino and John's past.
