Good job! I like the Truck! I have an old truck with a six foot box. I'm thinking of making myself a truck camper on it next summer. Lots of lakes to go to in Northern Ontario Canada.
Heck yeah man! Love to see it, makes me want to buy a topper for my truck 😂. Found you on instagram after meeting you at the swap meet in February with Marling Baits. I was the goofy looking guy with the cool mustache hanging out with Nate and the fam 😂 love to see another young man following his dream as I am as well. Keep it up buddy! Let’s go fishing sometime!
@@byronsbaits Nevermind, instagram is dumb so I can’t message you apparently but I snagged one of your cards at the swap meet so I’ll shoot ya a text tomorrow when I get home from turkey hunting 🤙
That was an awesome bit of design and build, you looked very capable ...... most of the time lol I'm left handed to, and I know how much of a b*%#*%d it is using a skill saw that is designed for right handed use, so you often get a face full of sawdust because you got to look over the thing to see where the cut is going ....... you try finding a left handed skill saw lol Same when using chainsaws "I am a kid ..... don't give me a hard time" hahahaha that was classic You can be proud of that build Byron, I was very impressed, and it brought back many memories of doing similar stuff
Funny you mention the Skill™ saw, I'm right handed and I don't like my saw, I always thought that it was made for left handed people. The blade is on the right and the motor on the left. It's stupid because I have to lean over to the right to see where the blade is cutting. Two years ago, I bought a Mastercraft battery powered saw from Canadian Tire which has the saw on the left and the motor on the right. Now I can see what I'm doing.
@@donalddumas6987 almost sounds like you are a right hander (predominantly) but you are using your skill saw left handed without realising I'm left handed and hold the saw with my left hand, and get an eye full of shit quite often lol Are you holding the saw and operating the trigger with your left or right hand? That another thing with the Hitachi saw i usually use is the trigger lock button is awkward for me to push so you can pull the trigger, because of it's placement for a right handers thumb lol .... interesting eh
@@bobbroadhurst1648 I just realized that my chainsaws, both the Greenworks battery powered chainsaw and the Poulin gas chainsaw also have the bars on the right side and the motors on the left. What is wrong with engineers anyway, lol!
I think you did an amazing job. You are ahead of me.
I love how the delivery driver just opens the door and leaves the package and Byron looks back-this had me laughing. 😂😂😂
Nicely done!
Bravo! 😊
Brilliant! "Made by a kid"... did better than some men I know.
If I tried to use a power saw, I'd probably only have 7 fingers now.

@@bobbroadhurst1648 I'm definitely right handed. I just don't understand why the motor is on the left if it was made for right handed people.

Safety glasses are on the porch..fyi
Eye, ear protection and oh, I don’t know something to protect your lungs?

Please put on eye protection when using a circular saw. 🫤
