Wanted to thank you for your videos. I decided to get my girlfriend a roomba for Christmas since she has a large 3-floor house. Thankfully (well, instead of spending $150 I'd planned, I spent over $600 so you cost me a lot more money this Christmas lol!) I decided to research and found your videos. I ended up getting her the roborock s6 and we absolutely love it!

Robot Master so, I’ve got an interesting issue with w our s6 I was wondering if you’d ever seen. Last night I sent it to clean downstairs and it started acting weird. It started mapping new nonexistent walls and then got lost. I wanted to post picture of it’s maps so you could see what I’m talking about but don’t see how to post them in comments.
Taggart Little Ok so have you mapped both the up and downstairs and saved them, have to go to vacuum settings and map saving mode. So I would go to your map saving area delete the current map and than load the map that represents the downstairs.
Robot Master yes. It was also giving us Messages that the filter was clogged even with clean filter. I think we have the problem solved though. I cleared the error and then completely shut suck it off and restarted. All seems to be working perfectly again 😁

I really enjoy your videos. I got one real world suggestion is to use a dining table set and spot clean the area with the table and chairs.

Thanks for the video. I have a few questions. Is the Roborock S5 quieter (in MAX mode) than the Roomba S9? How much time does it take for both robots to clean your entire house? How much the Roomba S9 battery lasts? Which one is better for your opinion? Thank you!
Smart Robot Reviews Good questions, the Roomba s9 is the loudest and most powerful at max power running around 22 cfm. The Roborock is quieter by a few decimals but I wouldn’t run these at night or while watching tv, too loud. I haven’t tried running just the Roborock and S9, I own 6 robots and having them all run will vacuum my 3,000 Sq. Ft home in 15 minutes divide and conquer. Each robot alone usually takes 6 hours with a recharge in between if on the low power setting. If the Roomba s9 is on high power it takes 18 hours has to do two recharge trips since the battery life only 50 minutes in that mode.
I like the Roborock better because it a better value, you can pick these up for around $400. The Roomba s9 is in a class of its own, price and cleaning performance. If you have a lot pet hair and want the most powerful vacuum on the market and money no problem the Roomba s9. For everyday sweep the Roborock is the best in for value and performance.

@@SmartRobotReviews If noise is an issue, consider the Roborock S6. It's much quieter than the S5, although running any robot at full power is gonna be somewhat loud.

@@george5120 The top performing robots are the Roborock S7, S4, Ecovacs T8+, iRobot i7+, i3+ and 360 S9. It really depends on what features you are looking for. For example the Roborock S4 is a good performing cheaper robot, where as the S7 offers good mopping performance. The i7+ offers good overall cleaning performance and self emptying system, but is more pricey. The 360 S9 is more of a mid range robot with good vacuuming and mopping.

Saying the Roomba need refinement in it's navigation is an understatement. Bit disappointing for a state of the art roomba. On the other had Roborock 5 kicked ass! Might have to look into one of Roborock for the upstairs.
I was about to say same thing. It's so bad for 1k$ robot. Honestly I'll wait until roborock releases model with emptying station. They will win the market if they'll release it soon.
The Xiaomi is in a different league. So glad I bought one instead of the overpriced Roomba.
I have the S9+ and I can tell you I don't have melons or boxes laying around. It's not a race. Which robot can clean the best, remain the most efficient, and has reliability are more important questions.

Glad I saw this video. I was about to send my new S5 back and get a Roomba because the S5 is having difficulties mapping my house and does not like my medium plush carpet. If the S5 is one of the best, then I guess I won't have a robovac in my house. :(
Hello, I have the opportunity to buy a used S9 (1 year old) and a new X5MAX, both at the same price, I live in a 100mt2 apartment, what would your purchase option be?
Well if you have a more open Floorplan and want a simpler App interface than go with the S9 from iRobot. If you want more App features and mopping capabilities than the S5 Max is better choice.

after watching you and VacuumWars, i have really been looking into the Roborocks. I was looking at the Shark IQ, but I think the LIDAR has sold me
From what I can tell from my testing, Roborock offers the best Lidar navigation. The S4 a good value if you have medium to low profile carpet and hardwood floors. If you want mopping and vacuuming the S5 Max a good option.
Which app do you use for the roborock s5? the Mi home app or the roborock app?
MI HOME use Mainland China as the server, gets updates faster

The S5 is not supported in the Roborock app. Only the S5 Max, S4 and S6 are.

geo kokos It depends on your house environment. If you have a lot pets that shed hair the i7 and s9 are your best options for homes 2,000 Sq. Ft or larger. For smaller homes the Roomba 600 series should work. Now the Roborock s5 is a great midrange vacuum, good for everyday cleaning and is a good price around $400. Let me know what type of house, rugs, hardwood floors you have and I can help you pick out the best robot vacuum 😆

*I run the m6 daily, and my floors look awesome🌼 **allabout.wiki/Robot-Automatic** I wet mop 2 days and dry sweep the rest of the days. When I first got it, I used the included disposable pads. I didn't like them--the dry pad has no depth so if it picks up a chunk of something, like dry cat food, then it pushes it around or drags it around the floor. The wet pad wasn't very absorbent so left streaks and wheel marks.*
