I love Morrisons I was annoyed with myself earlier when I went in I forgot to scan my more card and missed out on loads of deals, they have gorgeous Xmas stuff xx
Hello my friend, thank you for your wonderful food hauls and I am very grateful for you videos. Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🍁🍽 weekend. Watching from Colorado USA 🇺🇸 Hope you and your family a wonderful holiday s.
Always enjoy your hauls Ria..things still going up in price. I did read though Olive oil is meant to be coming down in price soon..let's see if that eventuates 😄. Aww sparky 🤩 Stay warm ❄️ ☃️ xx
Hi Ria. Good haul and meal ideas. 😊 We go to Morrisons a lot, but it is expensive and seems to be getting more so! 😬 I try to get as many deals as I can! Definitely on Team Ria with the water! 😂 Nothing wrong with the good old tap! 😄 xxx
Hi ria my partner Pete says pieces he’s from Wolverhampton, they all say that here.i wondered what they were talking about when i moved here 22 years ago..lovely haul.❤❤❤❤❤
My mum is from Belfast and she says pieces and dad when he was in the Royal Irish rangers the guys called anything they stuck between 2 slices of bread was a piece. When I lived in England I did most of my shopping in a big massive Morrisons. I wish we had them here in Northern Ireland. Re bottled vs tap water, I do believe a lot of the options are based on where you live. I used to live in a,small tiny town called Aughnacloy, farmland all around and the tap water was and still is vile. Even boiled there's still a weird smell & taste. We always used bottle water even making a cuppa or cooking. Where I live now, the water tastes and smells fine. The only bottled water I buy is for my son for school. He refuses to drink from any of the plastic or metal drinks containers. Shop bought plastic bottles of water is the only way we can get him to drink water, so it's a small sacrifice to make. My cat and wee pug used to love a can of sardines 😩, I bought some for the yorkies, but I haven't plucked up the courage to open the vile things xxx
Hiya lv...yes agree chocolates used to be huge tubs... just a shame these days... you have got lots for money but yes Morrisons can be so pricey but I too love the bakery haha xx
Hi Ria i just can't drink tap water, so we buy bottles, we even put it in the kettle for tea & coffee. We are in solihull i think we have soft water here 💧 each to their own. X
I drink tap water but I did invest in a water filter jug a few years ago that I keep in the fridge…when it’s cold and tastes so fresh it encourages me to drink more of it 😂
I did the same in Morrisons last Friday in Wrexham I got four of each of the heros and celebrations with my shopping I didn't see you had to buy 45poundsworth of food for each one to be 2pound it was very disceiving❤❤❤from julie
100% right, water out of the tap will do. Got some nice things at a good price. 90% of our groceries is for cats, we now have our 2 indoor cats and 10 outside cats.❤❤
I prefer Morrisons over the other supermarkets. We did call in at Aldi after for few bits though. We had snow on Sunday night and a terrible frost Monday and Tuesday, so stayed in the house as i would have ended up like Bambi skating and would have ended up on me bum lol Tempreture to be really low this week , minus 2 or 3 so the forcasters have said BRRRRRRHHHHHHH. Enjoy the food. Ive saved up almost £50 on my more card now, ideal for Xmas. xxxx
hi ria. oh thats a lot isnt it, i do find morrisons to be a bit pricey but i do like there stuff .the cheese with the garlic looked lovely. water out the tap , nothing wrong with it at all 😊 ❤❤
I have spent a long time shopping at Aldi to save money but had noticed the costs there going up so decided to go back to Morrisons for a change just to see if the More card makes any difference and actually if i am careful and look at whats with the More card i can spend the same as Aldi. The tap waters not too bad here but we do have it coming through a filter on the fridge as well. My husband loves all that tinned fish stuff 🤢 not for me thank you 😂 thanks for sharing Ria 😊 x
Hi Ria 👋 I personally prefer bottled water i always buy Volvic Touch of Fruit Lemon & Lime Flavoured Water. Our tap water tastes awful and I use a water filter for the kettle. Take care Louise X
I don't have a problem drinking water out of the tap either and you got quite a bit for that price I wouldn't have even gotten a fourth of that for $125 in America this more than four meals I think you did okay
As for the water debate, I think it really does depend on your location Ria but I’ve lived in the Bournemouth area and other parts of the UK too and mostly I found the tap water clean and fresh tasting. When I was in America I drank bottled water mostly but when I spent time in Canada I drank the tap water ❤️
Hi Ria I just drink tap water why pay for it when you can get it free from your tap.the food shop wasn't too bad but everywhere you go it's just all expensive nothing is cheap anymore.xx
Hi hun. I cant believe the size of the celebrations tub now!! A lot of prices that have stayed fairly low i find have just shrunk the product. Morrisons is so expensive in my opinion. I actually like tesco the best and they have some great offers on the clubcard price thing. Farmfoods is good for price and a lot of branded stuff. Are you vlogging on holiday or having a well deserved break? Ps I dont drink water so cant help u with that one sorry 😂 ❤❤
I would have split the shop to get 2 tins of celebrations. We have hard water and i have a water filter jug. I couldn't drink water from a tap unless it's with squash. Xxx
Hi luv it's been freezing here in Liverpool snow and ice ,I don't go to Morrisons, as I find it expensive and IV found Sainsbury's to be the cheapest if I'm honest how cute is sparky the water thing i get i find Wen I go to my mums she lives in Nottingham and I can't drink the water from the tap because you can taste the difference from the water from were i live sounds mad but it's true xxx
Honestly luv some things are expensive but most of it overall IV found cheaper than Asda that's were I used to always shop but it's so expensive now xxxx
Gosh that seems a lot for what you got x Morrisons is expensive, we shop at Sainsburys and Aldis we spend between £70 and £80 a week for our family of three x I drink tap water, hubby only drinks bottled ! Pay enough for your water rates why pay more ? Xx
There’s nothing wrong with tap water. We pay a fortune for it to be treated and made safe for drinking so I’m not going out lining the pockets of another corporation by buying bottled water. Plus all that plastic is awful for the environment.
Nice haul Ria, bit pricey but isn't all food shopping nowadays. Never heard sandwiches called pieces before...😁 Never buy bottled water unless I absolutely have to. Because of bacteria, toxins from plastic and cost. Have a look at this that I copied from Google :- Bottled water has several disadvantages, including: Health concerns Bottled water may contain harmful chemicals such as phthalates and BPA, which can leach into the water over time. These chemicals can interfere with hormones and may be linked to health conditions such as liver and kidney damage and breast and uterine cancer. Environmental impact The entire life cycle of bottled water is harmful to the environment. The water bottling process releases carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, and plastic bottles that end up in landfills or as litter threaten the oceans. Bacterial contamination Reusing plastic water bottles can encourage bacteria growth because they are difficult to clean. Regulation While bottled water is regulated the controls are less stringent than for tap water. Cost Bottled water can be expensive, especially depending on the brand and where you buy it. Microplastics Bottled water may contain microplastics.
You made me laugh when you said pieces, I’m a Brummie! ❤😂
Can’t help it hun xx
Lol you made me laugh calling your cat son 😂😂😂❤
