Palmanova - From Torrenova to the Mimosa Hotel - 25th April 2022

- Having just walked from the Mimosa hotel to the Magaluf strip, I continued my walk through Torrenova and down into Palmanova.
The hotel Hawaii was on my list of places to point out, as was the Bermuda and the new Tent (Don Bigote) hotels.

Hi Steve, I don’t know how I’ve missed a few videos as I thought I’d watched them all! It was me that asked if the sea was as clear in Palmanova as we’ve only ever been to Alcudia. This video has made us very excited as we have booked to come to Palmanova staying at the Zafiro Palace on the 8th July. We definitely wouldn’t be going if it wasn’t for yours and Anita’s fantastic videos! Can’t wait to swim in the lovely sea! Many thanks Louise and family.

My old apartment at 13:30. Worked in The Prince William over the road in the early 90s. Love the videos as I can't be there at the moment. You've walked past several of my old apartments as I've lived there on and off since the early 90s. I'll be back lol

Very sensible to seek the shade. Love the spot underneath the Hawii, great views across the bay. The Hawii end was deserted a few weeks ago, suddenly it looks like the place has never been closed.
Thngs change quickly here.
Another enjoyable video Steve. When I come in October I will be staying in the Hawaii hotel as I enjoyed it the last time I stayed there which was a few years ago now. When you enter the Hotel from the main road you are on level 6, we always used the the pool entrance which was on level 0 and used the boardwalk to go to the beach and town it saved you walking up and down the hill and all the steps. I was lovely to see the family again. Take care and stay safe x

I stayed at the Innside by Melia last year and went for a run pretty much along this same stretch along the beach. Lovely place, and I like hanging out at the Castaways. 🙂 Would love to go back this year. Thanks for the memories!

The weather has been up and down. Temperatures should be in the 20s, could be the odd shower, but sunny spells too.

We would love to have a video of why you moved there, what it was like to move there, if you learnt the language when there. Maybe if you raised your children there, what the culture shocks were of any and how you’ve found living there over the years. That would be so great!

Hi Steve and Anita. I absolutely love your videos and seeing the Alua hawaii and the Son Matias beach, I will be returning to Alua hawaii on the 22nd of July this year would be amazing if we were to see you while we are there. Just a quick question do you need the booster to fly to Spain a lot of people are telling me I need my booster 28 days before I fly, my booster is booked for in June but I just wanted to know if this was correct as I can’t find any information about it all I can find is you have to be fully vaccinated with 2 doses of the covid vaccination.
If you 2nd vaccination was more than 270 days befor you travel, you need the booster, but rules change so keep checking. I think it is 14 days, not 28 days before you fly, so June should be fine.
We have enjoyed watching your video s as we havent been for years when we use to visit our daughter who worked in Magaluf We have booked Zafiro Palmanova and wondered how far it takes to walk to a nice beach and if you have been in the hotel?
It is only a 5-10 minute walk to the beach. I'll go down there agian soon and do the walk.

Este vídeo foi feito num dos lados que nós mais gostamos Palmanova e filmou o Hotel que vamos estar Hospedados em Julho ( espero o ver a si e a esposa neste mês) Alua Havaí é um dos Hoteis que gostamos de ficar. Como não vamos á 2 anos por causa da pandemia este vídeo veio mesmo a calhar que nos mostrou como o Hotel esta , tem a cara lavada e sempre limpo. I was wondering if you start at this end where Steve finished today, if you would please (this is a big ask) start at Globalas Palmanova then take the short cut by the side of the Fantasia Golf then up to the prom so we have an idea of how far this is.
