As a long time homeschooling mom who has laminated a TON: use a dab of a glue stick on the back of the envelope to stick it to the laminating sheet so nothing moves. The heat from the laminator will “melt” the glue and you don’t see the glue on the final product. 🙌🏻🎉

Divina C this is a great idea. Have u thought about using the cricut to cut and score the cardstock for u? That way it will go faster and all u have to do is fold the cardstock once the cricut cuts the rectangles.

Hi girl!!!! You put so much effort into explaining it and filming it even though it would of taken so long! 🥺🥺 To make my life easier when I make these envelopes I buy origami paper 😆😆 they are usually 16 x 16cm and when cut in half and folded it becomes 8x8 cm and then I just laminate it and cut it ! So much easier than measuring it that’s why big respect to you for making them this way ☺️☺️ One hack I do is cut like 15 sheets in half at once and after lamination I cut about 2-4 at the same time 😅😅

First time viewer here, I’m so glad I came to your video, I’ve watched so many videos on how to make these, but somehow they never work for me. I just keep laminating the card stock, there’s never a pocket, and I couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong. You’re the first I came across that said to just fold it (I have several brain injuries so it never even occurred to me to do it that way), I tried it this way after watching your video and they all came out beautifully.

Girl I saw Tara Budgets make like 6 of them in like hours and I was like 😱😱😱 But after making like 100 of them I got the time down to about 2-2:30 hours 😂
so when shopping, make it a habit to do a little extra cash back. save all your change and >15% of extra funds. that was always my “christmas savings account” with a house full of kids (12).
I wonder where people get the 100 envelope challenge box that’s not the mini ones because some of us do not like the fold the money before we put it into the envelope. I have 4 x 6 envelopes that are actually made for. A6 sized and I’m trying to find a box so I can put a pack of 100 in without them falling over or having too much room in between all of them in the back of the box. If anybody knows, please let me know I’m not looking for the mini size like this. I’m looking for ones that actually have the full-size one that can hold dollar bill sized just the box the envelopes are super easy and all I did was take a one to 100 sticker sheet and put each number on the front of my Villum envelopes. That way I can make a 100 envelope box in under five minutes. The lamination required because my envelopes are Villum and were premade from Mama budget and I got the 100 challenge sticker sheet from 307 design studio on Etsy
I made a really crappy version. Lol. I just cut up envelopes into the size to hold dollars. Then I taped the edges so it would stay closed. I am putting $100 in every envelope. So that I double the amount. No need to stress over random amounts.

I ordered from an Etsy vendor and just received it. They’re very nice but I did wonder about the size. The box is awesome and looks like the one you showed. The thing was the envelopes don’t fit the way I thought they would. They are trimmed to where they don’t fit long ways as it shows in yours. Not sure if I am making sense?
Hey Lysa! I am very sorry to hear you are having this experience. I know everyone makes their products differently. For my envelopes after they are folded they do size up to 3x3 in. After laminating they do size around 3x3.2 in.

So I have the same thing. And use the same setting. My problem is the top where the envelopes open like to come apart from the laminated sheets. Is it because I am using Walmart brand sheets????
I’ve used Walmart brand laminating sheets, I put the envelopes they the laminator like 10 times to make sure they won’t open! So I laminate them all together, and pass it they again. Then once I cute the envelopes individually I pass them they the laminator again to make sure the edges are sealed
Really inspired me I even made my own box too… it was a interesting process mine came out a bit lopsided lol. So I can’t wait to see a professionals handy work than my own lol

Just take regular envelopes and number them and put them in the box they come in. It works fine for me
