- This is a thrown form and a trimming video on a Giffin Grip. The video shows how a form is first thrown, examining the problems of design and technique, resolving those issues and producing variations on the theme.
Love watching you! I realize you have to work hard to get ready for the tourist season. I’m sure other potters want to visit like me!
I really appreciate your teaching technique and confidence.
Thanks for sharing
You are welcome.
I just recently found your channel and I love watching you. I have watched many potters in the past. You’re my favorite to watch right now. You give me so many new ideas. Your videos are direct, to the point, and easy to follow along. Thank you!
Thank you Crystal, best not to look at the earlier videos then. My editing skills have improved a lot.

I have one on my deck but it is on the deck fence so I end up feeding a Raccoon, but he is so cute.
Those are stunning , my wheel throwing ain’t the greatest yet . I’m going to make one of those by hand and see how well it turns out.

Thanks Susan, i am glad the bowl got there safely.
Man if you could get a video of squirrel flying off one of feeders 🤣 great video!!
Wwwwwwhhhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
On the third post it looks like a hidden lighthouse.
May just have to give this a try.
Cheers...Freddie
I made some light house pieces and you would think they would sell here but alas not. Thanks Freddie.
What clay body are you using and what do you use for your bird houses?

@@Vsmithpots thanks again for your help. You're truly amazing to watch. Now all I have to is keep practicing and maybe I'll get good at it
These are great - will definitely be on my list to try, thank you 🙏 For your next trick, how about a bird proof squirrel feeder?😂😂😂
For my next trick, may be a perch for the Raccoon who is loving the bird food too. It is hard to ignore a hungry masked bandit.
how about spraying the hoods with silicone spray?
Give it a try and let me know. I can pass it on to my customers. Thanks.
Skydiving squirrels..lol.. only in Nova Scotia... love it!
They ate all my beans and snap peas this year.
@@Vsmithpots I stopped growing green beans because the deer here ate them all.. I feel your pain.😁
Vaughan I like the idea, thank for sharing. eddiespottery.
