I'm a middle aged white person who loves and lives The Cure. When I heard Prayers, I honestly felt like I was given an extension of the gothic, heart felt lyrics that The Cure gave to me, but I am a loyalist to Prayers because he has the courage to talk about his darkness and the truth about the misunderstanding the person next to you is experiencing. New fan, in the skin of a normal, white, professional woman who looks like The Carpenters is her favorite music...btw, I do love the Carpenters, but I rock out to Prayers.
