Agreed! The essence of the siva is to “smile from the inside!” Being connected to the siva and feeling joy by being proud to be a Samoan.... that genuine smile will make your siva beautiful even with simple actions kuz like u said..... no matter how good the choreography if there’s no smile or if ur doing a FAKE smile which is also noticeable n cringe.... those elements will kill the dance.
My mom and grandma use to always say that every time we danced, or when they were teaching dances.
That's so true. The key is the smile and eye contact with hand movements makes the dance look even better 😍

Why am I seeing this a year LATE?!! You two were AMAZING! The way you were in sync, on beat, and allowed your actions to tell the story is beyond me! I don’t usually like watching duo dances because a lot of them are limited to transitions BUT you two definitely changed my outlook on duo Samoan numbers. You utilized the entire floor AND danced for not only the newlyweds but their guests as well! I applaud you. You danced BEAUTIFULLY and you looked good doing it!
