To be clear, I don’t think that lowering the key on songs when you perform them on tour is a bad thing at all, but especially for songs like the ones on his new album, I just worry. But, of course, mad respect to him for attempting to do it anyway. 👏🏼
He received training on Broadway and learned how to sing high notes without straining his voice. He will be fine because Brendon doesn't strain his voice.

They’re only people😂 but I just saw him in Nashville like two days ago and he didn’t just hit, but exceeded every single high note he went for. There was not a single oopsie, it was really incredible
Flaws like this just makes Brendon more lovable. He always gives his 101% every concert, doesn't lip sync, sings the highest note that he can even though it feels like he is limit testing and breaking his vocal chords.
I think because his vocals are so amazing, people must scrutinize him more. This is stil absolutely fucking amazing. The fact that he DOES actually sing while jumping around and putting on an amazing show is unusual in the first place. And even with slipping up just a little bit he still sounds better than 99% of other people I’ve heard live

@@totom.8095 unfortunately i kinda gotta agree with you; i don't like most of the new album, but even still considering the music, it is very high. you can get by with that in a studio because you get a bunch of shots at it and can stitch stuff together. But also there's the issue of SO many songs having those high notes. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but a lot of them sound like a falsetto. You can hear the strain in his voice. And if that's just one part of song or something, that's not going to be that damaging. But consistently singing in the most straining way you can can be very dangerous. I do truly worry that he may end up messing his vocals up trying to do all of this live. His whole album felt like it was catering towards the high notes we liked from past albums, but there's a reason we liked them. It was like a little treat when they happened, and we could appreciate them and be in awe of it. Now it's present almost constantly in every song; so not only is it almost ear-grating from the sounds of him straining as far as he can go, but it's also upsetting thinking it could literally end his career instead of helping it.
Just did last Friday in Philadelphia, 2nd time I saw Panic and I had a shit eating grin on my face the whole time. That says a lot with my very introverted personality 😂😂😂
