Totally agree with unlimited PTO policy being not good. At first I thought it's something cool, but in practice, it's not as good as it sounds when companies advertise for it!

How about jobs in East Asia? I found there is very few companies using GO at the location or time zone.

Hey man! Please what are chances that you can work from home office - from Europe and get hired in the Remote US? Is this even possible to negotiate it with those companies? Thanks!

So learning blockchain is very useful for golang developers.

There are many jobs that aren't related to blockchain as well. Wanted to bring these blockchain companies for awareness.

I would say it’s the reverse. Learning golang is good for becoming a blockchain developer (Ethereum)

    I really like your videos

I don't have a job in programming but I did a lot of projects, if the company asks for 2 years of professional experience in go and I have some projects in go, if I apply, will my chances of getting hired higher?

Do they vet applicants on years or do they on portfolios

Generalization - Years if you have experience, portfolios if you are starting out. Years typically trumps portfolios.

If you have years, the number becomes a bit arbitrary. I’ve worked as an SE for 3 years but I get reached out to for jobs advertising 5+ years regularly.
