- Today we talk about how to identify Australia’s King George V stamps, which came out around the same time as the Kangaroo and Map stamps that we covered last week. This should be a simpler episode as this is a much simpler set to identify.

It's a great day when you find Ken has posted a video! I appreciate your willingness to wade into the fray and reduce the chaos. Thanks Ken!
So nice to hear
Another wonderful presentation Ken! Another example of why collecting definitives can be so rewarding!
I really like that these stamps are what everyone used everyday. It feels like a connection to people to me.
I collect Australia and your recent videos on the earliest have been enormously helpful. Thanks for the careful thought as to the level of detail and the precision of your explanations and images!
Glad they are helpful. I enjoy making them and sharing my collection
I love these videos with varieties, Ken! You do a great job of explaining them too. Thank you!
I appreciate your support.
Another great video. Your's are the greatest. Keep them coming. I'm a long time collector but I always learn something from your vids. Thanks.
I appreciate that!
Saving your videos so when I start collecting Aussie stamps, i will have a great reference guide already!!! 👏👏👏
So cool. Btw did I pronounce ThreeStun correctly?
@@KensStampCollection yes you did! 🙂
Love the Australian stamps. Great information Ken, Thanks!
I love them too
Great video, Ken, thanks! Your videos on stamp series, and varieties of stamps are just excellent. So much to learn, and so much to refer to should one collect the stamps you discussed. It is really interesting to learn about the politics and to and fro between the kangaroo and map stamps and K. GV stamps. I enjoy this picture of history in stamps. Take care!
Glad you're enjoying them. The politics are so interesting.
Great video, again! Thanks for all you effort, Ken.
My pleasure!
The thumbnail made me smile. It looks like you are having a pre fight stare off with KGV 😂 A great video as always 👍
You know, I have so much fun with these silly thumbnails. It does look like a pre-fight stare off. Haha
I really like this video. Well done👍
Thank you very much! I’ve liked yours too
Thank you so much.
Always welcome

Who on earth uses Scott for BE? 😂
What a great question even if you were laughing. Here's the funny answer--Americans. When you stop laughing again, here's the more detailed answer. In the US at least, dealers use the Scott catalog to price things. We have access to Scott catalogs in libraries and stamp shops. Largely, the only SG catalogs we get are for GB. Specialists will shell out for other catalogs, but the typical collector in the US doesn't have the budget for that.
Fortunately, for Australia, both Scott and SG list about the same thing for these stamps. There's really not much difference. That's not true for GB stamps. Scott is pretty weak for those stamps. Honestly, if I were to dive deeper into Australia, I might look for the specialized catalog available in Australia rather than SG. Can you share what that one is? Teach us, please.
NSW is a bottomless pit of joy….don’t fall in!
I have a few, but no obsession yet
