Australia and NZ are definitively the places to be for rotaries, during my visits in NZ I have seen that the JDM classics scene is bigger there than anywhere else on the world. Try to find an RX2 or RX3 in Europe, extremely rare and expensive, but throwing a 13B in my MX5 sounds absolutely exciting to me. The 13B Opel Kadett in this video was fun, lots of C Kadetts are raced in classic rallye and hillclimb in Europe, but in general with 1.6 and 2 litre Opel engines.
These are far more exciting to drive than a v8 car .
