GREAT find! I was telling my non-crafting friends that each crafting blogger has a niche and Angie is the one who tests and experiments. I really enjoy your videos. Thank you so much for all you do.
Thank you so much, Angie. These gift box ideas are just in time for Christmas and are so affordable. You sure made my life much easier and I can use all the help I can get during this busy time of the year. Thank you for sharing. You are amazing.
I love it! I was looking for boxes in different varieties and lo and behold my dear Angie had a video. Once again, you never fail to deliver. God Bless you!!
Omg thank you Angie. I was looking for something like this since a year.. You came like a blessings. It's almost holiday season and I was wasting my time in making these boxes for eash of my ornaments. Now I know it. Thanks a lot and God bless you
Hi Angie, I have files to maker larger bags by using two sides and attaching. Was looking for something smaller and was so happy to come across this. Better, it used one piece of paper. Yes the bags can be a bit prickly, but I had made bigger bags, with the additional step of attaching the two sides together. Thanks so much for sharing this!
Thank you Angie for this great link. I love all the different designs on the website. These will be great for fun way to give Gift Cards for different holidays.
Angie I just want to say how amazing this video and the website is to me. I was looking for a way to make a specific size box and do it on my maker. This website and your tutorial saved the day thank you thank you!!
Loved your video, my only question is about the gift bag, do you think you could to a tutorial on how you put it together? Since you stated it was the hardest figure out, I think it could help with a video of how you figure out how to put it together? I know I would appreciate it! Love all your videos keep them coming!
Your amazing thank youuu!!! I do have a question about using card stock to make product boxes using card stock. I want to use them as a print to cut but be able to add my company design and some more text. Could you possible do a video about this. Im particularly interested in the coffin but my print is a letter laser printer and i need a 7.25 in x 1.25 x 1.5 but the option to format to letter paper makes it too large :(
Thank you very much for sharing!! this page is just what I was looking for! It is very clear and that you can change the measurements of the box is wonderful.. the problem is when I export it to cricut design space, the export is done correctly and I can see the temple there but as soon as I click on "layers" the app closes automatically, could you help me with that? I would love to be able to modify the lines like you show in your video, thanks a lot!
Hi I have a Cricut Maker original I will be using Cricut Kraft Board Foil Holographic Sampler Neon to make gift boxes. What blade should I use to cut it? I have the double Scoring wheel already. Thank you.
Hi, I just want to ask please the gift bag what kind of paper you use is card stock or what is it thank you so much. Your videos is so nice is so grateful and helpful. Thank you so much.
Love this! Is there a material a box top could be made from that's transparent? Would be nice to be able to see products for sale in a craft sale, all boxed and ready to go. Thank you!
I am a senior citizen with the Maker and can never figure out how to use it for what I need. I need a box and this has been a blessing. Thank you #AngieHolden for the help and sharing the site. Have a wonderful day John 3:17
Hello, I just want to ask if yoy have any video tutorial on how to design each panel differently. I want a separate design for each side of the box and I can't figure it out. Thank you
Thank you! For the tape runner, on amazon its only the permanent refills at the moment, not permanent with the actual gun/runner. They have the prepositional runner for cheap, can I just replace the tape after with permanent tape? Is it the same runner/compatible? Thank you!@@AngieHolden
I’ve followed this multiple times in the past with no issue. Now trying to make the pillow pack for my first time and its a major issue for my machine or design space not sure which one. It’s showing my score and my outer cut lines as they should be, but instead of using the fine blade when it’s supposed to… it just keeps scoring. Used three different computers running design space and have restarted the project and my cricut about 4 times each now and I’m absolutely livid.
When you experience problems like these, you can default to 'the ugly option': choose 'PERFORATED SVG' instead, then all the lines (including the fold lines) can be cut with 1 knife using only the 'CUT' style. The folding lines will be perforated. Not as neat as scoring, but fail-safe.
@@AngieHolden A2 is not listed, but you can choose 'Custom... you decide' and then enter the dimensions for an A2. That is 420x600 approximately. 420x594 mm.
Angie, I am still contemplating purchasing a Cricut Maker 3 and have never used one before. I would love to ask if it can cut this adorable chicken coop gift box I saw online. How can I ask this and other questions before purchasing?
This goes a little fast for me! Lol. When you “ minimize” those downloads, how do you do that? I don’t seem to have that as an option. Nothing happens when I click on them. Thanks!!!
Hi Angie, is there a way to create a felt project on cricut similar to stitch die cuts. Teaching children to sew I need the stich slots on the felt designs
@@AngieHolden Interested in having poked holes in the felt. Example: If it were a heart design then holes so they can easily sew the 2 pieces of heart felt fabric together. Don't want to have younger children using sharp sewing needles and they have difficulty with the blunt needles. I used a hole punch but for a group of kids, it's tedious and too much. Look for an easier way. I have Cricut explore air 2 and a maker.
@Angie Holden Angie, thank you for your responses they're truly appreciated. I was just hoping the Cricut would make it easier. Again, thank you. Holiday wishes.
I actually saw a tik tok that mentioned it then dug deeper and loved it! Someone else mentioned it to me after that for cup templates which is also an awesome idea!
I am having a problem I think. Or it is completely possible that I missed something...I put my dimensions in as you show, I click 12 x 12 size, I chose CRICUT and then Create. I shows saved as .svg (that is what came up in the pop up box). In design space when I try and upload, nothing happens. If I go to the folder and look at the download, the file downloaded just looks like a piece of paper with svg next to it (this part I am probably not explaining good). Sad everyone in comments seems to have it work ok but I am not understanding.

Larger than the mat?
nice and useful video, thanks 😍😄

Thank you for the video!!! What kind of blade should i use?
Just the fine point blade for more materials that you would use to make boxes.
I am obsessed with making boxes! Thank you so much for sharing this! Have you tried making a heart shaped box? If yes, did design space lock up?
I didn't try the heart! Sorry!

Kraftboard is a good thick option from Cricut for boxes.
Hello, I just want to ask if yoy have any video tutorial on how to design each panel differently. I want a separate design for each side of the box and I can't figure it out. Thank you
You would have to add cut designs after download the box template.

Hi Angie,
Could you tell me what the measurements would be for an A2 card box to cut using the Cricut? Thank you!
I'm not sure! You can open up this website and try different measurements with A2 as your paper size.

I would say keep the holes fairly large and it would work fine or just do slits and that would work as well.

I cannot get design space to allow me to make it a "cut image". I'm so confused! I really wanted to make some boxes for gifts.
Try changing the operation type.
What’s the best card to use to create boxes for wine glasses x
I would try Kraftboard.
@@AngieHolden Thank you x
Great Idea! What kind of paper do you use? Tia
For the hexagon box I used kraftboard and the other two are just like a medium cardstock.
Can you use a 12x24 mat with Explore Air 2?
Yes.
Would it be possible to use the cricut to cut the holes for the ribbon on the milk carton?
Definitely! You could just add circles and slice them out!
@@AngieHolden thank you. Thought there must be a way. :)
Hi Angie. Do you perhaps have bigger designs?
You can make these whatever size you would like but you need to keep in mind the size you can cut on your Cricut.
@@AngieHolden that's the problem.
How can we add images to the box templates fir print then cut?
I would think so. You would have to keep them within print then cut size however.

Maybe make sure when you click 12x12 that the entire thing fits on the sheet? Maybe that is throwing it off?
