Skylanders: Giants is a 2012 video game in the Skylanders series, and a direct sequel to the 2011 game Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure. It is the game before Skylanders: Swap Force. As the title suggests, it features larger Skylanders known as "Giants", along with other new gameplay mechanics. It was released on 17 October 2012 in Australia, on 19 October 2012 in Europe, and was released on 21 October 2012 in North America, and was released on 22 November 2012 in South America, by Neoplay.Square Enix is also scheduled to release a Japanese version of this game. It has also been released on the Wii U as a launch title in North America, Europe and Australia. This is the final Skylanders game to be owned by Vivendi before Activision became an independent company on 25 July 2013.
I love koases VOICE acting, it's incredible and suits him.

Crying from all the years it's been since I played this game, I remember my very first Giant, Tree Rex, and I remember the skylander I used to beat the last boss, you guessed it, Tree Rex, I still use him in the newer games too... Man, I love Skylanders... The ending for this game was so sad... I miss that robot in the games, I forgot his name though, and Egon our guide, oh my god, his voice is perfect, and the graphics are perfect, everything is perfect... But all good games will eventually end.

To be honest, I had forgotten the parts where Kaos gets zapped in the lightning storm after he landed, or ANY of the times he got whooped.
I will never stop kicking myself for doing that. Now they are permanently embedded in my Memory Bank. I will never again forget such blissful times as this.
The Cutscenes made me recognize the game. I use to play Skylanders Giants.

I think this is the best graphics the Skylanders games has mustered so far. After playing SA, Giants, SF and TT, Swap Force has the worst graphics and Giants has the best. They have to make more of their games look like this.
Personally I think swap force has the best graphics.

I still have all the games up to Trap Team, but like an idiot, I sold all my skylanders. So now I have the portals and games, but no skylanders. But now that I somehow found a skylander video, it reminded me I should at least be able to play my childhood game. I really miss it. Though speaking of getting into the game again, what skylander do you guys recommend? I don't want to spend too much on new skylanders, I just want a single one do I can at least play the game. Now, my playstyle is kinda all-up-in-your-opponent's-face type. So I need a skylander that can deal lots of damage at close range and is very bulky, but also a bit fast of possible.
It's cool to think how rare this game is now and the fact I have it along with a legendary bouncer skylander

Looking back at this, this begs the question. Kaos is a portal master, which is why is isn’t frozen. So since the Kaos Sensei is also a portal master, why is he still frozen?
