Ballad of Jimmy Reavey

This is the ballad of Jimmy Reavey whose three sons were murdered at their home in Whitecross, County Armagh by the notorious Glenanne Gang on January 4th 1976.
The following day, Jimmy Reavey pleaded on TV that there should be no retaliation for the murder of his sons and, until her death, the boy's mother, Sarah Reavey, lit a candle every night for the killers of her sons.
Their older brother, Eugene Reavey, has been relentless in his pursuit of Truth and Justice, not only for his three brothers, but also for every victim of the conflict.
