Judge Shocked When 'YSL' Gang Members Reject Plea Deal Ahead of Young Thug Trial

- A Georgia judge was shocked when two "YSL" gang members rejected the state's plea deals on Thursday ahead of Young Thug's RICO trial. "Young Slime Life" members Tenquarius Mender, aka Nard, faces 50 years if convicted of charges against him, while Derontae Bebee, aka Be, faces a life sentence. The judge asked the two co-defendants to reconsider the plea deal during a short break.

I did 5 years in state prison and had 10 years of parole after I got out. I went to work every single day and as soon as the day was over I went straight home. Everyone called me boring and a square but I was successfully released because I knew any little things I would do 10 years and not one of those people that laughed at me and called me names was going to do that time for me

The HUGE problem with US penal system - is if you actually fight the charges, you dont accept plea deal (97% of people take the plea), and you go to trial - if you lose - its double japordy - meaning no good time - and they charge you TO THE MAX. You are basically penalized for going into a trial when only there you can proove your innocense. This needs to be changed like yesterday!
It wont be though
Wrong. The trial punishment is according to the penal code (not double or extra time) plea deals give you some time off if you plead guilty and save them court costs and tax payer funds.
@@Ronniemcnutted Here is an example of real charge - A person is charged with assault with intend to do GBH, and 4 other minor misdemeanors of threats and resisting. Person pleaded out for 90 days in jail and 2 year probation. This person in the end served 42 days in jail with good time + 2 years probation.( no strike, no more firearms, felon). If that person went to trial - he was facing 2-6 years, if found guilty it trial by jury - that person would be given 6 years in JAIL. And I believe you have to do 80% of that. Also that would be a strike in CA system. point being - its not fair - plus if you go to trial you need to spend at least $10-20k of your money - count appointed lawyers are a joke.

If they didn’t have a hard on for celebrities, they wouldn’t be offering those types of deals
I know it seems self destructive, but there’s something honorable about these men standing on their business. I salute you MEN
Being on probation for 15 years is not easy. So many ways they can violate your terms and send you back, almost guaranteed they get more than the one year out of you. Also, taking the please waives all rights to an appeal and any other protections you had under that law. Make them prove your guilty, don't just sign your life away.
I did 10 years paper. No problem
They would just have to MAN UP!
Yea but facing 50 years and not even 30 …
vs 50? 15 year probation lot better than 50 years in jail
Easier than 50 years. Wow you are not smart
Being on probation is a piece of cake if you stay out of trouble and turn from the street life🙃
If there was no cameras in the court room I guarantee they take that deal
Nahh I doubt it…
I agree.
All judges are pro prosecution. Plea deals is just an easy way to win cases. He’s doing a favor for Fani Willis, not these two.
If they get convicted, they will cry behind closed doors, kicking them self mentally for the next 35 years, damn what a life
In poker terms WE ALL IN Judge
🤣
yeah with 9-2 offsuit 🤣
The prosecutor has four aces and a fifth up the sleeve, and they do not even know the rules. However, if they took the plea deal and went back to the streets in no time, another gang member might take care of them.
I ain't doing time n paper trying to Railroad the man in the judge telling you he going to give him the max
drawing dead on the flop.
Prosecutor sounds like she's for the streets... That's the only way I explain it 🤣🤣🤣🤣
she gotta nice shape
He won’t be smirking like that after trial. I promise you that.
We’re going to come back to this post. 🎲🎲
The judge on this case is really good. I commend the honesty and him making sure they understood exactly what was happening and how important their decisions could be either way for them.
This comment did not age well
Mr. Judge this really tells me you have a heart. To go over and beyond to make things clear. All judges Need to take notes from you.
Hope you're watching the trial now to see how biased and unfair this judge really is.
Let's be honest here, these are not the smartest people in the world.
He would never have made it a day on probation anyway.
Fax
No seriously 30 years in probation is a trap and the prosecutor knows that
True…a 10 pm curfew for 15 years…nah
Exactly, they would be right back.
@@dahliar410 espacailly a curfew for a grown man to be home by 10 pm lmao
The judge isn’t concerned about these men, he’s trying to help the state get convictions which will play on all the others trails.
If you never been to trial or been to to jail had a public defender you probably don't know what you talking about I had charges that carried 40 yrs the deal was 3 I chose to fight did 7 months came home case threw out glad none of you was my lawyer or friend giving me advise
The judge want him to plea so bad by throwing them numbers in the conversation and he sitting there wit confidence saying I kno he want me to break
Keeping it 💯...You do the crime, don't go telling on the next man!! Gotta have some dignity.
This judge is exactly what you want a fair person
He is being better to them than they deserve, for sure.
This judge act like pleading guilty is better than fighting for your freedom!! They always ask if you are forced in these plea deals but they continuously try to persuade these guys into pleading guilty 🤨🤨🤨
I feel like the judge know they can't win no matter what
He’s looking at the case and he knows they won’t win
@@EazyTheRecon yeah he's asking them to think...
People must be cautious of what they hear in the media and the language that the Court speaks. They will say a bunch of stuff that will try to intimidating you into pleading yourself down the road.
He’s telling him in so many words the case is already lost those guys are going to jail so take the plea instead of trying to fight the unbeatable case and potentially getting 50 years when you can have time considered serve with 10 years of probation for those of you have never been to jail before you will never understand
I hear what your saying however this indictment has a murder 1 charge within it if guys are implicated by any of the co defendants have taken plea deals that states they have to testify against you kind of hard to take it to trial when everyone else have taken a plea what's the plausible defense to state that you are innocent and everyone else just copped a plea ?
They told me the same thing when I was facing an attempted murder charge, I stood my ground took it to trial and they nolo pros the entire case due to the witness not showing up, they offered 10 different plea bargins, from 25,20,15, 10 etc all to walking out of court a free man.. I hope they don't fold
Right
I agree with you and in being prudent, as it pertains to this case, he must know that he will not receive a better deal and the jury will convict him. He has no leverage in the case to go to trial and expect a different outcome.
The definition of STAYING SOLID
Definition of laying down without dirt on you.
The definition of trash culture
The definition of a fool , who in they right mind want to be caged up ina dirty cold cell
The amount of time you get in prison in the U.S for random charges that ain't murder is ridiculous.
Ridiculously low, sometimes.
The judge basically told old him, this is not a game, take it or leave it….”Momma can break his plate because, he’s never coming home to eat off of it”…..50 years….🤦🏾♂️
15 years probation is a trap.
What a reality check! Even for me… Stay focused y’all, don’t let the devil steal your rewards. Have a Happy New Year 🎆!
Furthermore; package deals ain’t no joke. By taking a deal, you Inadvertently implement others. The system has twist! Keep your heads up and stay in your lane. Roll solo bolo if you have to…
For Real!! No quick money no running around is worth this
You said it all. Been dolo for a decade of dirt and all that ever stuck was paraphernalia. All because no one else knows enough to tell about.
The new Year is March
For real foosball is the devil
They are murderer devil not stealing nothing from them they work for him
They don't have a case go to trial young man
I said the same thing💯
Simple decision! If you truly intend to change your life, take the deal. If you know you are true to the game and you are not going to change, take it to trial!
The smirk on his face says it all. He knows better then anyone in that room because he spoke to another lost fool in the same cage he resides. He's gonna blow trial and spend the rest of his life in a prison.
Unfortunately, so Unfortunately that's most likely what happened
They think they can fool around and show how tough they are, but in the end they will look like fools.
Don't call people fools brother, God states very clearly the sentence for souls who do. But yes he does seem to feel he's going to be alright, and is under some misrepresentation of what's actually going on.
@@micah1121 . It is totally ok to gamble and it´s not my life that is wasted, if they go to prison for decades.
@@adamabele785 your a fool ho
Perhaps, their lawyers should explain to them that taking a plea deal without being a confidential informant is commonplace and doesn't constitue being a "snitch". Then again, there may be more going on behind the scenes, on the streets, that the judge or any of us for that matter are privy to.
Well said. The streets is talking.
Taking plea's and admitting guilt is a form of snitching there's no way around it.
I'm guessing and only guessing that there case is not as strong as it should be that's why they want to plead it out and get a guranteed conviction my guess is they make a counter deal and that's that
@@charlesanastasia7574 Or the state has a limited amount of attorneys for trail and it's far more time efficient to just submit plea deals for less than extreme cases to save everyone a time of time and hassle and normally will be less time than the state would get on a maximum charge so a win for the defendant.
If your co defendent takes a plea deal its a automatic guilty for the others involved. But im not sayin he shouldntve taken the plea deal they guna railroad him with a foot long
Looking forward to Bruce rivers commentary.
Me too!
Same!
@@CheavorTV tory is guilty
And who is hee... 🎵 Bruce Rivers the criminal lawyer
10 years down the road these boys will regret this decision....The judge knows it and is trying to make them see it. No takebacks when youve been locked up for 3 years realizing the people you stayed solid for dont care what happens to you
