great vid ,,would be a good vid to watch you fitting the kit to the car i have been thinking about upgrading my little 2008 aygo with same frame as you showed to the new lighter one with a electronic brake actuator ,,
A expensive one, I did hear of another on which Was left in gear as well, that also destroyed the gear box as well as the engine, Thanks Gary for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
The Aygo does 30 MPH in first and will touch 60 MPH in second at about 6,000 RPM. If it was towed by a motorhome, the engine would have been sp[inning at about 12,000 RPM in first at 60 MPH but would have the oil pump running without the heat from the combustion. It is quite mad that it got so far. The engines do have a rep for being bombproof.
I tow a Citroen c1 behind my Motorhome on a very similar set up. It’s a great bit of kit and would recommend it. Just remember apparently they are not so keen in Europe on this type of assembly, France isn’t so bad but Spain and Germany are big no no by all accounts.
aaanton11 No towing by A frame in Spain or Germany. Some people have got away with it but many are told to unhitch and drive car separately, after a fine of course. They are classed as recovery items.
Morning Fella... How's tricks? Top notch info as always.... Love the diversity (omg... That's a bleeding posh word for me) of ya video content Is this your motor home en car set up? Definitely not mine, "it would be nice", I am more of a vw California guy, and a don't have one of those either lol, I will put it on the wish list, which just keeps getting bigger, I am still saving for that rolls Royce battery charger you have👍🏻 Thanks Alan for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
aaanton11.... I'll treat you to the MX7 for Christmas fella. The Rolls Royce of chargers... Like it 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 My way of saying thank u for the great video's. Your part of the deal, is to remind me at the beginning of December. Sorted!!! Keep up the good work en stay safe. Alan L200
Thats down to the A Frame, it holds the car ridged, the wheels will only steer on the car when moving forward, the best way to describe it is if you turn a corner in your car, and then let go of the steering wheel it will always return to centre. it uses that Principe. The down side to the A Frame, it will not work in reverse. Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
@@aaanton11 Thanks, I was a little shocked that the driver would ignore the noise or apparent extra drag from the towed vehicle and stop for a basic check with the towed vehicle but anyone can make this mistake.
4:50 tells you how good this car is...
Do you agree or disagree? 😂 They are certainly better than a MG Metro, Thanks M G for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
I was watching a video about this the other day. It was a more complicated set up though & used a vacuum on a piston to press the brakes
Nice to keep things simple, less to go wrong, this system works really well, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠

I wonder how does it steer the trailer?
