  • This is the fourth video in a four-part series, delivered to Music Production students during the lockdown, where I walk through my own process of building a Fuzz Face Guitar Effects Pedal.
    In this short video installment, I solder both a PNP and NPN version of the circuit onto pre-made PCB's.

    Clicked cause i recognized those boards. Just built 2 and have another couple pcbs coming. I did the pnp stock with sockets. Started with silicon but found a pair of germanium transistors. Npn I crammed a few mods in namely bias trimmer for q1 and bias control for q2 and capacitor alternatives.

      Great stuff, ben. That sounds like an excellent build. I've been re-learning KiCAD recently to make my own PCBs for some of these projects.

    Hi, I have these exact boards and I cannot figure out how to connect it to my jacks etc. could you show me how you connected it all up please. I’m really stumped here. Joe
