9 foot pole + 1 foot of saw = 10 feet
Thanks for mentioning the weight part of the saw when you mount it on the pole
Thank you for watching.
mine doesn't work (NO POWER) - is there a way to fix it? What could it be? I tested both outlet connection.
you lost a foot...send it back...lol
Thank you, you helped me yesterday. I saved time and hours from watching your video. Awesome job!!
Thanks for watching!
Better than hand loppers, and hand saws. It is definitely for smaller pieces, no more than about 4" diameter, but it gets the small jobs done easily.
best vid about set up on you tube thanks
Glad you liked it!
Too bad you didn't show how to adjust the chain when it gets loose.
Fair point. I should have shown that. It is in the manual in case anyone does need to do it.
@@ColoradoRMN Thank you. I found a manual online of a newer one but basically the same machine.
what does the 25 mean in the model number?
we just got it but can't get power
not sure i'll buy this saw but a definite thumbs up for the saw cam!
Can you put a 12” bar on it?
Are they suggesting you lower the saw to push chain oil button?
So you need to press the safety button on the saw before you attach it to the pole? Mine works without the pole but once I attached the pole to it it doesn't power on...
I do on mine as the pole trigger has its own mechanism for on/off.
Great video - Thanks!
The outboard motor shaft mount is the only "weak link" in this otherwise great saw; that element is pitifully done and WILL melt (the motor rotor will then seize in the stator) if you do not figure out a way to lubricate it (too late for me). On the drive/sprocket end is a nice little roller bearing, but on the outboard end there is not even a decent bushing of any kind. Expect perhaps 10-20 hours of occasional use. Fatal flaw, impossible to repair, leading to trash can for the saw ...and a wonderful but lonely extension pole in your garage.
I got the same issue you are talking about and it happened after 10 min of continues use.
The the electric motor's rotor got so hot on the end close to the brushes that it melted the plastic. I spend 2 day and replaced the plastic with a metal one I custom made to be able to grease the bearing and after putting it back together the brushes melted a copper tab off the rotor because of heat due to too much arch. Now I am out a saw and wasted 2 days.
@@bens.519 I wonder why they designed a good saw with such a (very) weak link, ensuring the whole purpose of the product will quickly fail. It's like the quote from the move, "I coulda been a contender." Too bad.
Same for me.
nice review, the ad says ‘and a pole saw, can extend to a maximum overhead length of 15 ft.’ I guess it’s including the actual saw, but it can’t be longer than 3ft. where can be 3ft gone?
Thanks for the feedback! I think they factor in the angle and average persons height with that estimate.
15' means saw plus user height.
Is this saw made in the USA or CHINA??
Mine has "Assembled in Mexico" mark on it.
I've had mine for a couple of years and have used it countless times never had any issues with it.
That is good! You are what they call a Lucky Person. Glad.
Don't buy this unless you are JUST cutting a few 1" limbs (at most).
Anything smaller gets jammed up inside the saw.
Anything larger and it is not made for extended use (just simple, small cuts).
This saw is cheap, so you get what you pay for.
This saw works great and last more then 20 cuts i have done at least 75. And a small tree. You have people that know how to work power tools and then there one's don't. so they break!
