I get motivated when I get close to being done with a kit also. I tend to just push myself through it if I'm struggling; however, I only have one WIP at a time. So, the motivation comes from being able to start a new project if I hurry and get my current one done :)
I tend to have a few WIPs because I love participating in events. I put some away, like a really confetti heavy Christmas one until the next season. Sometimes I’m motivated to finish something because I want the storage container.
I had to set Nightbringer to the side for several months. First I switched up to a painting I got from another shop then to one I was short on time for as it was a Christmas present. Since then I finished the Christmas DP, then Nightbringer and now working on the bottom half of the other shop painting
I have several going at one time too. I fall in and out of love with them sometimes and just need a little break. Or I get burned out on one and move to another and come back whenever
I'm usually a 1 wip person. The only time I stopped on one was a super heavy confetti piece and the colors were off from what the original artwork looked like. I just put it aside for a while then I would work on one row. Once that row was done I allowed myself another break for a canvas I really wanted to do. The canvas turned out great just wasn't quite what I was expecting color wise.
Wow, that's an insane number of wips 😂. I'm like you, either I start with the 'hardest' part to get it over with or leave it to past for the end sprint. Either way, you can do it 😁👍🏻
I was always a one project at a time person....then I started Spangler's Dog Bookshelf and it all went poof from there lol. I am actually forcing myself to finish it first in 2024. I have two more books to go, so I'm on the home stretch. But I think after doing it almost all of 2023 I kinda like having two projects at a time......😜
I have a confetti crazy one too. I use that one as the one I turn my meditation on for. I just slow everything down and be okay with my single placing and enjoy the journey. I like single placing more than multi placing (I use plenty of both) though so maybe that’s not helpful
I normally do a row and then move to a different canvas woth less conffetti. And just go betweem the 2. Like I can't work straight on a landscape habe to have something else to work on.
Thank you for sharing, Lindsay! I am a 1 WIP at a time diamond painter. On a rare occasion, I may work on 2 at a time for different events, but it gives me anxiety, and I try not to do it too often. I am a fan of confetti, though! Good luck finishing those all this year! I know you can do it!
I am still gathering all my wips up to go over. So, for instances with super heavy confetti... I think it just depends. Like with my mystery kit from Jade.... I pushed through because I wanted to see what the final image was so badly... with others, I also try to push through so I can get it over with. I always want my last section or two to be easy..lol
Yes I am the same way! The closer I get to the end the more excited I get, but towards the middle of working on a kit I get bored and just burnt out! But I never work on more than two kits at a time.
I have multiple WIPs on the go. Of the large licensed kits, I currently have 3. BUT, I’m almost finished with DAC’s Where The Fun Never Ends - my first Mandie Manzano. I’d prefer to only have 2 large kits on the go, and my 2024 goal is to complete all my budget kit WIPs. I can’t wait to see that Diamond Dotz Kiss completed.
I always have 2 WIPs going at a time, but only because I have 2 places that I work on them at. I am like you though, once I can see the finish line of a kit, I am definitely motivated to finish so it goes quicker. If I get bored with a portion, I move on to another section that I can get into easier. Thanks for showing us all of your WIPs and hope you are able to finish them all this year!
Currently I have 2 WIPs from DAC, both square, one is Tiger Mantra by Christopher Lovell and the other is Christmas Eve at the Workshop by Dakota Daetwiler. Tiger Mantra is very heavy on the 310's, meanwhile Christmas Eve at the Workshop has like 20 different shades of blue and quite a bit of confetti, I'm hoping to finish those before starting anything else. 😅💜
I get stuck on confetti too even if I section with release papers.. Might we see an update on your cross stitch conversion? Is that something you are still working on?
I don't know how you have multiple pieces going on at once, it would be too much for me, personally! I can only do one at a time. Love your videos!

🤣 there is always that one project that sent us down the rabbit hole!
I will only do once canvas at a time . I also work on pieces more when I’m over the half way point .
I love your enhancement of Jasmine’s dress with ABs. I’m going to borrow that idea for some color blocking backgrounds I’ve got in my future!
It’s kind of fun to do! I want to try it out more as well! 😊

I need to try this! 😊
I have 15 WIPs but currently working one kit at time.❤😊
Love your WIPs ❤.....and enchancement on a kit......
Keep it up.....
I love that you make these 'your own' by enhancing them!
Thank you 🥰

Ooh looking forward to yours!
@@EmeraldsandFairyLights thank you!! Hopefully I can get it together this weekend!!

I think hanging in them in February is a great idea. I couldn’t buy canvas with all that confetti. It would drive me bonkers!!
Lovely canvases! Ah, so many of them to work on! I am sure we will see them all in your finished works video for 2024.
I am currently doing a square and round Wip at the same time. But that’s as far as I go.

I have 2 wips just because I needed a break from the one that was so dark. I needed some brightness to lighten my mood
I live the 2 Mandie Manzano’s. I would’ve wanted those if I’d been diamond painting when they were available. Two of my favorite Disney movies.

I love the Disney ones! I wish they still sold them. I am enjoying your videos 😊💎
I knew this video was going to give me anxiety because I can only do one at a time...but I love your videos ❤🎉
I really don't like color blocking, all these unfinished paintings would drive me crazy. I start one and finish it before starting another one 😮
I'm blind in my left eye see nothing at all and my right eye w/o my glasses is -450 so sometimes I have problems seeing
beautiful 🤩 do you have a unboxing of toadstool cottage?
Yes I do!
Wow this wips are huge i kmow why you had to put them away for some time
Yep Ladybug love is another wishlist item! Commenting as I go haha so I’ll probably have a few separate comments! ❤
Something about her 😢😢😢😢 my ultimate unicorn
I get stuck on confetti too even if I section with release papers..
Might we see an update on your cross stitch conversion? Is that something you are still working on?
Yes I’m working on a separate video for that project! 😊
