    • Kansai Adventure I: Wa...
    This is part of a journey that took us 6 days, sleeping and traveling in a van with 2 dogs, and exploring a less adventured area of Japan.
    Part one, in Wakayama, deals with the Path of the Gods pilgrimage of old Japan, and in this video we check out some of Japan’s oldest and holiest areas, the birthplace of the Shinto religion, Ise Grand Shrine and the surrounding beautiful areas.

      @@4amLaundry Yeah I've been there but I still like this one better for some reason, maybe cause its not as well known and not crowded at all. Need to visit Kawagoe's one again sometime soon

    I LOVE this video, already one of my favourites! Some beautiful shots. I really like the idea of rebuilding the bridge every 20 years to reflect continuing tradition.
    Also, more shots of the dogs is always a good thing 😀

    Wow! The video is so crisp and clear. I so want to try the food there!
    Nice work! It's so easy to miss the effort put into the transitions, font effects, and the shadow ninjas running across the screen. Oyaaa! ... and I feel the shrine calling out to me! :P

    • @NomadicGaijin
      @NomadicGaijin  2 роки тому +1

      And a lot of effort it did take…even making the ninjas run across the screen was done manually, but enjoyed the whole process 👍 you feel the pull of the shrine?

    • @ergo.proxy.
      @ergo.proxy. 2 роки тому +1

      I like how a number of them blend in with the theme of video like the cloud transition effects. Haha. I was referring to the part where you said the shrine chooses its visitors. I've been wanting to go to Japan and who knows I might end up visiting Ise too.
