This Buffalo series has been incredible, and has also made us super hungry! Can’t wait for the Adirondack segment. Not sure how long you are in the area, but if you end up near Syracuse there is a small town on the beautiful Salmon River called Pulaski. You can hike at the tallest waterfall in NY (Salmon River Falls), eat amazing pizza at Two Brothers Pizza, and eat another great beef on weck sandwich at LD’s on the River. It’s a picturesque small town that y’all would love-Kona too! 😃
So glad you enjoyed it! We unfortunately only were able to drive through Syracuse and do some chores there, but we hope to be back! We were in the area a few weeks ago and have headed very far east now! 😃
Loved seeing the tour of my city ❤ Buffalo is some what of a melting pot lol two examples of this could be the Broadway market and the Westside Bazaar (25 Grant street) There's 7 restaurants, a bakery and a small vendor court on the other side there but the food.. amazing. Never had a dish that I didn't like, they've got options for everybody. Authentic cuisine from East & west Africa, Thailand, Japanese, Burmese, chinese cultures and delicious baked goods to top it off. Hopefully you guys can visit back one day. 🥰
Hi from Buffalo! This was such a fun video to watch, knowing that I’ve been to all of these places and that others outside of Buffalo appreciate it and love it just as much! Thanks for shedding such positive light on our home! You guys picked such great places to represent Buffalo!
I haven't heard of the sponge candies before, those sound interesting to eat! I don't think I've ever seen Buffalo before, I really love all their floral murals.
Yum! My 5 year old says “Now I’m hungry, no, now I’m hungrier, and end with the chocolate, Now I’m even hungrier!” Thanks for sharing these stops and doing the research. We appreciate that! Have you thought of doing some videos of “van life cooking?” Thanks for all the effort you put into these. It takes the stress out of planning for others!
Hahahah that is adorable! ❤️❤️❤️ And we do have a video from April 2020 I believe where we cooked our favorite meal in the van, but we are trying to cook more in future videos because we’ve been a little off budget lately haha
Horseradish is a MUST! It’s part of what makes the Buffalo beef on Weck so unique.😅 It’s an acquired taste, I think. Also, Blue Cheese is what goes best with wings. The traditional is wings with blue cheese, celery and carrot sticks. Thanks for featuring my home place. WNY has the best variety of food in my opinion. Great video!!
I grew up in the Niagara Region on the Canadian side and whenever my parents would take my brother and I over to Buffalo for a shopping trip, my mom would always tell us to wear our "big pants", because the food in Buffalo is so good that you always came home stuffed. Hope you enjoyed your stay in the WNY area.
@@AdventuresofAplusK What Buffalo lacks in scenic beauty, it more than makes up for it with great food and friendly, down to earth and hospitable people.
@@terryomalley1974 Terry, The architecture in Buffalo is some of the best around. The surrounding country side is beautiful, an hour or so drive from Buffalo is Lecthworth state park, the Allegheny mountains along the Pennsylvania border and the Lake plains along Lake Ontario with its farms and orchards. Ontario Canada has allot of spectacular scenery as well. I used to travel to Midland Ontario for Business fairly often and always enjoyed the trip.
I LOVED this video and in particular the shoutout to Freddies Doughnuts and the pizza looked amazing. I do want to add my vote to a couple suggestions from others for your next visit: Loganberry, Ted's Hot Dogs and Duffs (on Sheridan and Millersport specifically).
I've been to Buffalo so many times and I never explore the areas. I always go to the outlets. Time to explore. Great video. I've marked these places down on my saved Google maps! Thank you.
I’m from Buffalo, you pretty much nailed it. There’s other things you could try and there’s a lot of opinions on the best pizza places and best wings, but I think you captured the essence of Buffalo well.
You picked the best 4 places. Imperial Pizza is my son's favorite, the spicy pepperoni offsets the sweeter sauce. It's amazing. And Bar Bill is my all time favorite. Cajun honey butter bbq wing with that wonderful blue cheese dipping sauce is incredibly good, and the beef on weck with the au jus to dip is phonomal. All of Paula's Donuts are fluffy and amazing. Haven't tried the candy yet but that's next on my to do list. ✌🏼
You were in our hometown! Thank you for making us proud! We eat good around here! I was THRILLED you went to Bar Bill's! You won't have better wings anywhere else!
I grew up in “Elmwood Village” back when it was just “West Side” and on the edge of the Italian neighborhood. Got my haircuts at Vito’s, which is across the street from Watson’s. Pizza, beef on weck, Freddie’s Doughnuts, and wings (and fish fry) were food staples. Nice job capturing the flavor and flavors of the Queen City. In the olden days, every neighborhood had its pizzeria and several neighborhood bars, each with a warm hunk of roast beef for slicing and piling on a kummelweck roll (that was pretty much the bar menu). Local legend was that if they served food, they could be open on Sundays. Don’t know if this was true.
You guys are killing me… :) Being so close to the border, we were able to pop across the border for a few hours to patronize the wing establishments in Niagara Falls, NY. or in Buffalo. The pizza and roast beef looked absolutely delicious! Always made a stop over for food from winter trips skiing in Ellicottville before heading home across the border. Safe travels and you’ll love the Adirondacks, especially now with the colours. Maybe a boat cruise on Lake George? All the best to you two. :)
What’s your favorite wing spot in Buffalo?! And we unfortunately were slightly early in the Adirondacks for the peak colors (we were there a few weeks ago), but it was still sooo gorgeous!
Nice review of Buffalo cuisine overall. Was born in WNY (Lewiston, NY) educated and worked there professionally until relocating in the early '90's. Miss the original Buff. wings, Sicilian style pizza and the home town favorite Beef on Weck...but only with Miller's horseradish. Elmwood district still looks great as well and had many great times there while attending Buffalo State College and beyond. Great couple and wish you both the best in your travels!!!
We moved to Raleigh NC in '96 and found a restaurant that a guy from Lewiston owned called Blinco's. Saved our sanity because he had the best beef on weck, fish fries and wings we had ever had. He ended up closing his business and moving back to Lewiston to take care of his parents. We're hoping he comes back someday.
Great job folks. As someone who lives here and loves the food we are known for it is very apparent you did your research and did not just go to the 'popular' locations. 10 outta 10.
Glad you guys enjoyed our great city. There’s a mural downtown that says keep Buffalo a secret and while we love our city, what we love most is when people come to see our city and see the greatness that we do.
Okay, seriously! Peanut sticks! Tastes like a Payday bar? With a cup of coffee, sign me up. I'd start every day with one. I have to see if I can find any in my area. Keeping my fingers crossed.
The sweeter sauce with pepperoni pizza sounds lovely. I like to use BBQ sauce with pepperoni because of the sweeter kick it gives. All of the chocolates looked amazing, but the ones you went for look like a Caburry's Crunchie that we can get in most shops in the UK. 'Sponge' seems like an odd name to give it - I'd expected it to be... wait for it... pillow-y! 🙌
Love the Buffalo area! My favorite food is the Beef on Weck! Found out that you can't get that anywhere else because the salt on the weck ends up melting on the bread after a day or two and makes the bread wet, so it has to be used right away. So no shipping to other places. Curious why you didn't go to Anchor Bar for the buffalo wings. Have fun in the Adirondacks, they're beautiful!
Ooo we didn’t know that! Glad we got to try it there then! And we heard Anchor Bar wasn’t the best spot (of course, these are all opinions!) despite it being the original. We like to go more off the beaten path when we can!
Anchor Bar is mid level at best. It is fine to take someone from out of town but no where near the best. Bar Bill is actually the best place they could have gone as they are, in my opinion, not only the best wings but also have the best beef on weck as well.
We live in North Carolina and we get rolls shipped down here. They actually send a kit that we put it all together the very way you describe and we can get the beef anywhere but it's nice that we now have Wegman's too.
I've been in Buffalo, but haven't gotten to stop and try some of the classic foods. But buffalo wings are probably my all time favorite food, and the ones you got looked great! Though I would have gotten the hot, lol. The peanut stick looked phallic to me (sorry) ... and the pizza looked awesome. Kathryn looked like she was literally in love with the pizza.... Adam should probably be a bit jealous. She even wants to cuddle with it! LOL! Glad Kona is ok!
Great video of my hometown, highlighting the best food in the U.S.A. There are piles of places to get incredible pizza, great wings, and scrumptious donuts- but you definitely visited the places that are among the best. Buffalo ranks 4th or 5th of pizzerias per capita. Problem with that is, there are only 3 cities I have been to that have a pizza that comes close to the greatness of Bflo pies, and they aren't in the top 10 per capita list.
Awesome!!! You were basically in my backyard as you guys were trying out Paula’s Doughnuts Peanut Stick!!! Glad you guys liked the food here (people tend to gain a “lil” weight when they move to Buffalo! 😂🤣😂).
The Anchor Bar is also where celery sticks tradition originated as well, if I'm not mistaken. It was an off-the -cuff idea to put these on the side. I used to live within a mile of the pizza place and never knew its specialness. So many pizza places!
Buffalo has some great food, plain and simple! Also has great Polish food at the Polish Villa, a good hot dog at Ted's, and you can also get some great subs and pizza, but definitely has it's own style of pizza, of which it is the greasiest because of the pepperoni. It is not Upstate NY, but Western NY, has more of a midwestern feel to it than East Coast.
😳 I'm from this area so I didn't know our food was so unique. Like the pepperoni curling up and very supprised that peanut sticks are unique to WNY!?! Love peanut sticks, can't imagine not being able to get it. Sponge candy I knew because it can't be made everywhere. You can only make it in certain climates, not just temp but humidity ect.
Buffalo native as well and I'll echo what everyone else is saying -- you were appreciative of the culture that gave rise to the items you tried. I always say that if you're hungry in Buffalo, it's your own fault. I've traveled quite a bit, and I think (as objectively as I can) that Buffalo has some of the best regional food in the country. You really hit the high points and did a good job of showing them off. Good critiques as well -- not slavishly "foodie" but clear-eyed assessments, nicely filmed. The last part could make my friends understand why I never, ever share sponge candy.
so neat to see you folks in buffalo !!!…my home town , love your adventures, I’ve gotten great ideas from you guys when my friends & I have gone to the national parks .. thank you so much!!!…keep up the adventures.safe travels 😊
Whenever I think of Buffalo, my first thought is SNOW so I'm glad I got to see this. The city looks like an awesome place and the food looks amazing. P.S. Glad Kona is okay.
okay, as a person born and raised in buffalo, i understand ya'll just think of snow but we also have all four seasons and it's really pretty when snow isn't on the ground. you should come back and see canal side in the winter to ice skate! we have igloo's you can rent!
I found your videos because I am traveling and was checking out videos on Toadstool Hoodoos. (I do astrophotography, blood Red Moon when I will be in Page) Then I see Buffalo! Woot! Where I am from! You did a great job with all your picks for food! Thanks for showing our diversity! I will watch more of your videos! I also have the traveling spirit. I ride motorcycle across country, and next trip includes storm chasing photography tour. 📸 Be safe my friends! Keep sharing the beauty of our country!
This made me cry. I only moved two hours east to Syracuse. It's just not the same. There is no food here that compares to anything Buffalo has to offer. 716 for life.
Oh and glad you got into the Elmwood Village because its a very nice area, but for sponge candy the best place to go is PARKSIDE CANDY, building is very old and looks the same as it did in the 1920s, such a beautiful establishment it was used in the film the Natural.
Wish I would have known you guys were doing this. Two blocks from my house when you were at Paula’s. Should have gone across the street and had a loganberry and charbroiled Sahlen hotdog at Teds. Would have liked to have met you and guided you around a little. We do food and football better than most around here. Good representation of our area. Thanks
Why didn't you check out the Falls from the Canadian side ?! Funny that I didn't realize that peanut sticks started in Bflo (it's okay to let the peanuts fall- that's why they're encrusted with them). I love living here, and have enjoyed great food away from here. Your video was well put together and hope you return to Western New York again soon, whether I have the pleasure of seeing you or not... Happy traveling!
Great video and excellent selections in terms of the best examples of the best local foods in the area. The only consensus on what place has the best versions of each food, is that there is no consensus. If you ever make your way back through Western New York or down the road to the finger lakes in the summer time, you may enjoy a few sites outside the city, like Griffis Sculpture Park about an hour south of the city. It was the first Sculpture Park in the US and is 425 acres of amazing sculptures from over 100 artists. The giant mosquito, giant snake, and Easter Island type head you can sit in are my personal favorites. Letchworth State Park, also known as the Grand Canyon of the East, is another great local destination with amazing views and some great activities life white water rafting, hiking the 60+ miles of trails, hot air balloon rides, and camping. Good luck on your future travels wherever they may take you!
You definitely found some iconic and traditional foods of this area but we also have a HUGE culturally diverse population and the restaurants reflect this: Mediterranean, authentic Greek and Italian as well as some great Chinese/ Asian food. And you can’t miss out on the good ole southern cooking favorites!! Great video!!
As a resident of the Buffalo area you hit the jackpot here. There are no better donuts than Paula's, no better pizza than Imperial(fight me), top 3 of Wings at Bar-Bill but they have the best roast beef hands down, and Watson's sponge candy is in a lifelong battle with Fowler's for the best. I could not have picked any better places to visit. 10/10
Watching you guys describing things makes me realize I don't know anything about English. You both speak so fast and make the language to another level. Good work~~~!
You can usually get a good weck sandwich or wings at most Bar & Grills in WNY for a good price. And there's plenty of Bar & Grills.Fish Fry Fridays have also been big in WNY.
"Air pockety"??? Where did that one come from? I was disapointed when Adam the Traveling Food Critic didn't think that the Peanut Stick wasn't "pillowy". Another fun and informative video, you guys are so good at videography, editing and story telling I look forward every week for your vlogs. I spent a brief amount of time in Canastota NY. Some of us would go to a winter lodge in the Catskills, the parkng lot was at a lower elevation and we would ride our snowmobiles up to the lodge. Lots of fun year-round up there. Have fun adn safe travels. Glad Kona is okay.

Hello Adventurers😊😊😊, Buffalo is a cool city and the food scene is amazing! I have savored the deliciousness of Buffalos pizza pies as y'all just did. I know this video is old news by now, but I just watched it as I slowly catch up on your back library. I was especially excited for this one as I currently live on the shores of Lake Erie, not too far from Buffalo. You guys are so good at what you do, you almost made me consider giving the pizza out here another chance. Growing up in eastern NY where NY style reigns supreme, I consider that sweetness in the sauce of Buffalo style pizza an unforgivable crime against pizza. You nailed it with the cup-style pepperoni, though - those pools of cheese and pepperoni oil are to die for (probably literally, so let's not tell my doctor how much I enjoy it!). Awesome video, as always. p.s. As a lifelong Bills fans, the shots of their stadium made me happy. So very happy. :)
We really really loved Buffalo style pizza! The sweet sauce isn’t how we’d prefer it either, but it worked for us! We love NY style the best probably. But like you mentioned the pepperoni on the Buff style is hard to beat! I love flying the drone over stadiums. I can’t always do it, but when I can it is so fun and cool! If you haven’t seen our Nashville episode I was able to fly over the Titans stadium as well!
If you guys haven't been to the Finger Lakes region, you definitely need to check it out. Lots of great wineries, restaurants and shops. My husband and I go to the Finger lakes every fall, and the scenery at that time of year is spectacular with all the trees changing leaves, but anytime of year is great. I highly recommend Keuka and Seneca lakes.

And I am pretty sure that is the first time Freddie's Doughnuts has ever been mentioned on UA-cam! Great pull!! Now I cant wait to get back for Thanksgiving and hit me up some Bar-Bill!! Thanks again! Saving this for when I get homesick!!!
Thank you so much! That means a ton to us! So happy you enjoyed the video 🥰
Paulas Donuts Is by far one of the best donut shops in Buffalo and my family also has known the owners a long time, wonderful people with only one goal to service the community and create a bond. You guys really came through and showed the beauty and rich culture of Western NY, I’m glad you guys enjoyed your time here. Go Bills!
Thanks so much Grey! We loved Paula’s!
We've been following along on your US van life travels for a while now. My husband and I love to travel as well, and whenever we research new places to visit on UA-cam for our personal channel, no matter what, you guys ALWAYS come up in our search! I love that you've seen so many places that no matter where we look up, you've been there with loads of helpful information - we love it!
That is awesome!!! We have a goal to eventually have content for every state and major place people want to visit so we can always be a resource! ❤️ Thank you for following along!
Hello from buffalo!! So glad you got to try bar bill! You’ll have to try pizza logs and bison chip dip next time 😋
Both of those sound amazing!
Loved seeing the tour of my city ❤
Buffalo is some what of a melting pot lol two examples of this could be the Broadway market and the Westside Bazaar (25 Grant street)
There's 7 restaurants, a bakery and a small vendor court on the other side there but the food.. amazing. Never had a dish that I didn't like, they've got options for everybody.
Authentic cuisine from East & west Africa, Thailand, Japanese, Burmese, chinese cultures and delicious baked goods to top it off.
Hopefully you guys can visit back one day. 🥰
We would love to come back and try more foods! We love all of those cuisines!
Hi from Buffalo! This was such a fun video to watch, knowing that I’ve been to all of these places and that others outside of Buffalo appreciate it and love it just as much! Thanks for shedding such positive light on our home! You guys picked such great places to represent Buffalo!
Thank you so much for watching and for the kind words Lee! 😃
I haven't heard of the sponge candies before, those sound interesting to eat! I don't think I've ever seen Buffalo before, I really love all their floral murals.
The mural was so pretty! And the sponge candy was such a unique texture!
Buffalo's got a lot of good stuff, just a lot of people here are so used to seeing everything that they undervalue it
It's a really cool, very underrated place... Just make sure you visit in the summer! 💙❤️
If you ever are going to go to Buffalo, check out mulberrys, get the lasagna and meat ball.
Remembering sponge candy from the Garden of Sweets on Bailey Avenue. GREAT memories for my tastebuds!
Thanks and thanks for watching!
Hahahahah that’s hilarious! We totally know that feeling 😂😂
So happy you enjoyed it! And we totally messed up by not getting loganberry!
Yes loganberry for sure!!
Ted’s and Duffs! Was so glad to see that Duffs had the same vibe when I visited a few years ago.
Haha not gonna lie, I was shocked Loganberry wasn't on the list. Definitely a winner!
Crystal beach or aunties is the question 😜
I liked Adam’s violent analogy of knee-capping someone lol
If you ever hear of someone being attacked by a peanut stick, pretend we never said anything 😜😂
I was born in Niagara Falls and live in Buffalo thank you for stopping in. 🙏💕
Mmmm sponge candy. I don't see it too often, but always feel the urge to partake when I so see it.
It was such a unique treat!
I've been to Buffalo so many times and I never explore the areas. I always go to the outlets. Time to explore. Great video. I've marked these places down on my saved Google maps! Thank you.
We hope you can try them soon and enjoy them!
I’m from Buffalo, you pretty much nailed it. There’s other things you could try and there’s a lot of opinions on the best pizza places and best wings, but I think you captured the essence of Buffalo well.
Thank you! It was hard to choose spots, lots of good ones to choose from!
Kathryn, your reaction to the pizza (actual footage and the blooper) is spot on. LOL Great video!
Hahahaha so glad you enjoyed it 😂😂
You picked the best 4 places. ✌🏼
Oh wow those wings sound amazing!
You were in our hometown! Thank you for making us proud! We eat good around here! I was THRILLED you went to Bar Bill's! You won't have better wings anywhere else!
We have been loving all of the Bar-Bill love since we shared this! Such a great spot!
You did your homework. The places you picked are some of best around here. Next time you have to try some of our itailian and Greek restaurants .
Thank you! We did a lot of research!
Thanks so much for watching David! It’s awesome for us to hear more from locals about their memories and experiences eating in Buffalo!
You guys are killing me… :)
Being so close to the border, we were able to pop across the border for a few hours to patronize the wing
establishments in Niagara Falls, NY. or in Buffalo.
Thanks so much for watching!
We love trying to visit spots that aren’t as obvious! Thank you!
So crazy to see a video about places I've been going my whole life. Paula's when an after school walk I loved many times after exams haha
That sounds like the best post exam treat ever!
I really miss the food back there. I was born and raised in the Buffalo area!!! GO BILLS!!!!!
🙌🏼
I moved to the area more than 20 years ago and I will never leave.
Glad you guys enjoyed our great city. There’s a mural downtown that says keep Buffalo a secret and while we love our city, what we love most is when people come to see our city and see the greatness that we do.
We saw that mural! And then felt bad we were exposing some of the awesome things about it 😅
I’m from Buffalo. You made some great choices. Horseradish makes a beef on weck next level though! Sponge candy is the best!!!
Thanks Jennifer!
horseradish!
Maybe start out with a 4:1 ratio of mayo to horseradish, then work your way up if you wan😃👌
That’s the truth !
Niagara chocolates...sponge candy...was always the BEST!!!
Idk why but this video popped into my recommendation and this makes my lil Buffalonian heart smile
❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for visiting my home town, glad you enjoyed you visit and the awesome food !!!
We had an awesome time!
Okay, seriously! Peanut sticks! Tastes like a Payday bar? With a cup of coffee, sign me up. I'd start every day with one. I have to see if I can find any in my area. Keeping my fingers crossed.
We can confirm…it’s SO good with coffee!
I love that you called it “sugar sand” 🤣. Never heard it called that, but you better believe we’ll call it that going forward.
Hahahaha it is the best way we could describe it 😂
Born and raised in Buffalo! So many good places to eat it's the best!
Spaghetti Parm from Chef’s.
As iconic to Buffalo as food could ever hope to get. And the celebrities who have eaten there couldn’t agree more
We will have to try that next time
As a buffalo native I love this!
Thanks so much for watching!
'Sponge' seems like an odd name to give it - I'd expected it to be... wait for it... pillow-y! 🙌
Hahahahah you would think so right?! It was definitely not pillowy, but dang was it good!
There are many many places that make the wings better than the Anchor Bar.

GO BILLS!!!!!! Love this video!!! We have the best food here!!!
So glad you enjoyed it! ❤️💙
Go Bills
Oh the flavor on that chicken looks incredible! That iconic roast beef looks amazing also...Talk about FOODIE ♡
It was all sooo delicious!
Great video. As a lifelong Buffalonian, you crushed this video. Nice work!!
That means a ton to us, thanks James!
Yes these are all GREAT places to sample WNY's best!
Woo! Glad we picked alright!
Hahah I’m surprised no one else thought that about the peanut stick actually 😂
Thats awesome!! Barbill for sure has the best wings in Buffalo!! Sponge candy was great too!!
Woo! Glad we picked a good spot!
Thanks Mike! We really enjoyed that pizza. We weren’t sure what to expect, but it was dang good!
Fun video! So much great looking food. Enjoyed seeing the Bills stadium too. Good job! 👍
Thanks David! Adam loves seeing all of the stadiums when we travel
Awesome!!! You were basically in my backyard as you guys were trying out Paula’s Doughnuts Peanut Stick!!! Glad you guys liked the food here (people tend to gain a “lil” weight when they move to Buffalo! 😂🤣😂).
Hahaha we can see why! 😂
@@AdventuresofAplusK You guys are awesome 😎!!! 😁
You guys nailed it! Buffalo food at it's finest! Thanks for visiting the 716 the right way!
🙌🏼 Thanks Justin!
We are very prideful people here in Buffalo. Glad you liked our food 🥰 I sure do haha
It was delicious!
Well done, you hit some great places and made Buffalo look great. Go Bills!
Thanks a bunch!
The Anchor Bar is also where celery sticks tradition originated as well, if I'm not mistaken. It was an off-the -cuff idea to put these on the side. I used to live within a mile of the pizza place and never knew its specialness. So many pizza places!
I love the celery tradition! 🙌🏼
@@AdventuresofAplusK Cool.
We loved the pizza! Especially that pepperoni!
I’m from Buffalo thankyou for featuring the City of good neighbors ❤️ y’all picked some great spots ❤️
Thank you so much for watching! ❤️
That sponge candy kind of looks like the "Crunchie" bar we have in Canada.
And that food all looked so greasy and delicious. 🤤😆
We love how many names there are for that food item!
We also have a crunchie bar in New Zealand and Australia. I worked a Cadbury and worked in the crunchie room. Looks very similar.
I live in Florida but lived in buffalo for 20 years . Great food, great neighbors , and the bills
well done! You all nailed it with the Buffalo food. You did my hometown extremely well. Thanks
Thanks a bunch Joseph!
Oh my gosh, sharing sponge candy?! Blasphemy! 😜 Thanks for watching and for the kind words!
so neat to see you folks in buffalo !!!…my home town , love your adventures, I’ve gotten great ideas from you guys when my friends & I have gone to the national parks .. thank you so much!!!…keep up the adventures.safe travels 😊
We had a great time in the area! Thank you so much for following along!
Whenever I think of Buffalo, my first thought is SNOW so I'm glad I got to see this. The city looks like an awesome place and the food looks amazing. P.S. Glad Kona is okay.
Hahaha we will gladly experience the food part of Buffalo and not the snow part (we are wimps!)
okay, as a person born and raised in buffalo, i understand ya'll just think of snow but we also have all four seasons and it's really pretty when snow isn't on the ground. you should come back and see canal side in the winter to ice skate! we have igloo's you can rent!
Igloos sound fun!
@@AdventuresofAplusK they are heated! 😂
I found your videos because I am traveling and was checking out videos on Toadstool Hoodoos. (I do astrophotography, blood Red Moon when I will be in Page)
Then I see Buffalo! Woot! Where I am from!
You did a great job with all your picks for food!
Thanks for showing our diversity!
I will watch more of your videos! I also have the traveling spirit. I ride motorcycle across country, and next trip includes storm chasing photography tour. 📸
Be safe my friends! Keep sharing the beauty of our country!
Wow! Astrophotography and storm chasing sounds super cool! Thanks so much for watching 😃
Another amazing video guys! Welcome to my corner of the world!
We have been loving it up in this part of the US!
This made me cry. I only moved two hours east to Syracuse. It's just not the same. There is no food here that compares to anything Buffalo has to offer. 716 for life.
Glad we could give you a taste of home!
Maybe, but your Dinosaur Barbeque is the BEST out of them all, even after the original owners sold!
Oh and glad you got into the Elmwood Village because its a very nice area, but for sponge candy the best place to go is PARKSIDE CANDY, building is very old and looks the same as it did in the 1920s, such a beautiful establishment it was used in the film the Natural.
We'll have to check it out next time. Thanks!
Thanks
We will definitely try loganberry and a hot dog next time 😊
Every time I go back home to Buffalo I eat the same exact foods you showed here!
Woo! 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Thank you for visiting!!
Visiting Canada is a bit tricky right now, even being vaccinated, and our dog is not allowed in Ontario due to her breed.
That peanut bar reminds me of what I remember being called Mocha cakes, or Mocha bars.
Ooo we will have to look into those!
We'd love to visit the Finger Lakes area one day! Thanks for the tips! Thanks for watching!
Definitely! The point of this video was to share the iconic foods, but we love foods from other cultures.
“I don’t know how often I eat caroway seeds” killed me 🤣🤣🤣
Still trying to think of the last time 😂
Our city smells like Cheerios! You hit all the good spots. Bar Bill is definitely the best. Imperial is great. Western NY is known for our food!
We're glad you approve of the spots!
Imperial for the pizza, Bar Bill for the wings??? They did everything right!!!
🙌🏼🙌🏼
As a resident of the Buffalo area you hit the jackpot here. There are no better donuts than Paula's, no better pizza than Imperial(fight me), top 3 of Wings at Bar-Bill but they have the best roast beef hands down, and Watson's sponge candy is in a lifelong battle with Fowler's for the best. I could not have picked any better places to visit. 10/10
Figuring out where to go was overwhelming, so this means a ton to us!
It’s good to be bad sometimes!(food-wise that is!)😛 Loved every delicious bite of this video!👍🏼 So happy to hear Kona is better.🥰
It definitely is! The healthy food makes us appreciate these days even more!
You guys did a great job showing our city! Nice choices and thanks for being so positive
Thanks for watching Amanda!
Watching you guys describing things makes me realize I don't know anything about English. You both speak so fast and make the language to another level. Good work~~~!
We’re sorry if we speak too fast 😩
@@AdventuresofAplusK That's just for some steadfast viewers that may not have English as native. You guys are perfect~~!!!

You can usually get a good weck sandwich or wings at most Bar & Grills in WNY for a good price. And there's plenty of Bar & Grills.Fish Fry Fridays have also been big in WNY.
Yay!! Was wondering if you'd make a video like this in Buffalo. Pausing the video and grabbing some snacks, brb!
At first we were going to just get wings, but then the list kept growing and it had to be its own video!
Wow, quite the foody bonanza in Buffalo! That all looked so good. Thanks for sharing and safe travels.
It was a solid day of eating!
Duffs has by far the best wings in Buffalo also Teds hot dogs are great too!
We would gladly eat more wings and test any theories
The pizza sounded awesome!!! We could almost taste it...lol!
Reliving this day has us majorly craving pizza again!
Thank you David! Trying to try out some new words to keep everyone on their toes 😜
Great descriptive verbiage no doubt. We keep it!
Fish Fry also a Buffalo staple, check it out next time. Great Video!

Thanks so much for watching Robert!
@@AdventuresofAplusK if I would’ve known you were heading that way, I would’ve directed y’all to the Broadway Market.. they have so much amazing food. For Example: Pirogies! They’re like a Polish spin on ravioli/dumpling and they’re to die for!!! Where are you heading next?! I’ve been all over the country and I’m quite the foodie myself and maybe I can give you some ideas worthy of your time.
We actually tried those in Pittsburgh a couple videos before this one and LOVED them!
Hello Adventurers😊😊😊, Buffalo is a cool city and the food scene is amazing! I have savored the deliciousness of Buffalos pizza pies as y'all just did. Those wings...feels like sooo much goodness in your mouth and you want more of that...its to bad that you didn't get to see Watkins Glen State Park but I'm sure y'all will revisit. The Adirondacks area, especially Lake George and Lake Placid areas are so SPECTACULAR...and you will enjoy hiking those areas too. Don't forget about the Catskills. My favorite waterfall there is Katerskill Falls with its double waterfalls so check it out. Can't wait to see what's next😊😊😊👍👍👍👍👍👍.
I really want more wings now! Haha and the Adirondacks were amazing! So excited to share that video. We hope to make it to the Catskills someday. Lots left to see in NY!
I should've taken the advice at the beginning of the video, now I just want pizza!
We hope you can go get some! 🙌🏼🍕
@@AdventuresofAplusK I haven't seen the Nashville episode yet, but I look forward to the drone shots of the stadium when I get to it.
We definitely would like to someday!
If you do the Finger Lakes make sure you do the state parks Watkins Glenn and Stoney Brook are amazing.
Peanut sticks are 100% my favorite donuts! My daughter has a sponge candy pillow lol
Hahaha that’s amazing! 😂🙌🏼🍫
