I like the lav mics better because we can hear each team's commentary during the round. It probably made editing tougher with the multiple audio tracks, but audio quality is 100% better with the lav mics.
agree, can't hear the opponents hardly at all without them all mic'd up.
The mics add a tremendous amount of professionalism that greatly improve the overall quality of the content being produced.
Lapel mics are the way to go. Much more immersive and engaging. It is really fun to hear what’s going on away from the camera in relation to the situation. These are honestly starting to be more entertaining than the Jomez practice rounds. I love the different perspectives of the tour and specific courses. Thank you gentlemen very much for the content.
I like the individual mics. Being able to hear everyone clearly is nice.

Win lose or draw, I hope you two have many healthy years of disc golf ahead of you. Its always very entertaining to watch you two compete at a high level.
Appreciate the timing of this release. Many people waiting for coverage later or post production and there’s a bit of a gap this morning so I think it’s smart timing to drop it now (if it can’t be release the day prior to tourney)
lav is great if you mix it so the random convos out of shot aren't messing up whoever's talking. Also lower gain a bit, ezra especially was peaking.
Love the mics, it was definitely better quality.
But there were times you were talking over each other and it was hard to understand what was happening.
Appreciate the upping of the quality!

The mikes on Ezras vid might have been a little harsh but I did enjoy hearing more of the normal conversation even when yall weren't next to the mike.

The personal mics are a great idea, but the audio needs some adjusting for it to be the preferred experience. Gain seemed too high on Ezra's channel. I'm sure you guy's will work through the growing pains.

It's great to hear conversations with both pairs. Some talking over each other, but it feels like we're part of the group/card playing or spectating with you. Pro Lavs!
If you're not going to selectively swap the lav mics (so it's not two conversations at once), i personally prefer the on camera audio.
IMO i would suggest a catch cam as your next step in production!

The individual mics are neat, but when multiple people are talking it becomes overwhelming, at least to me. Love the content man, keep up the good work!

This audio feels like im with the group. The other mics are nice but they sometimes cut out and sometimes you talk over each other playing teams. But im mostly here to watch form and learn as much as i can. And brodie to crack some jokes here and there😂

Definitely preferred the lapel mics. Liked being able to hear all the conversations, not just the ones in front of the camera.

Mics we’re cutting in and out on F9 and that made it tough to listen to. If you can fix that, the mics may be the better option, but based on these two vids I’d choose B9 audio

lapel mics sound great!
Lapel mics sounded like they cut in & out and were too loud when fully keyed. With my headphones, I preferred this audio - it kept a more consistent level.
mic were good, seemed like the gain was up a bit BUT, i like being able to hear everyone. honestly either one is good im not picky

I prefer cam mic just because lav mics have clipping and go in and out at points. I’d rather have less commentary and better quality. But if you found a way to make the lav mics consistent ad cam mic I’m in!

Personal Mics are better if you get the gain right so they're not crackling. Also need to tell your guests to quiet down when you are talking to the camera.
It's nice to be able to hear everybody with the mics but they were a little hot. Also without the ability to mix the mic channels in post there were a few instances of everybody talking at once and not being able to make any one dialogue out.

this mic is currently better. the lav mics can be better. I would recommend the lav mics by Rode. they are bigger and more expensive but very very good sound
If you get the mics right, I think they would be better but I liked this audio more

LAV mics are better, only comment on Ezras channel was during your rant about the hole change you could have cut out Emersons and Nikkos mics when they were talking about the hole
The wireless mics are always a must. Although with four people you need to have Ezra and Brodie on one channel and the other doubles team needs to be on a different channel. That way you're not getting talked over when the other team is not on camera. Down fall, more editing.
Lav mics for commentary
You lose at Houston you gotta do the walk of shame and battle FPOs.
If you can dial the mics in better it would be ok, but there was a lot of peaking of the audio definitely sounded off.
Tbh I probably like no mics better.
The mics were really hard to hear as far as clarity goes. A lot of cutting in and out.
I love seeing nikko having some fun.
I'm torn. With his history, I feel like that crap at the European open should not have been a temporary suspension. I would have been absolutely fine with him being banned for life after that. If that was a first time issue, the temporary ban was appropriate. Otherwise, this guy has a bad attitude, pouts, throws tantrums, gets aggressive and is generally unsportsmanlike in nearly everything he does. I feel he shouldn't be here at all.

@@robertkluttz8313 well, he got sanctioned by the governing body and lost a sponsorship, so that's surely enough. Time to move on I think.
@@subspaceanomaly Gained an amazing sponsorship from Lonestar though and the family Texas atmosphere is rubbing off on him. As someone who lives down the road and knows all the Lonestar guys/ladies they are really awesome and can make plastic faster than any other company while also efficient. They really told him that he can be amazing if he just starts thinking about life after disc golf...and not take so long to putt.
