Thanks....I have big plans to insulate the solar shed once these AGM batteries expire......most off gridders that use lithium batteries insulate and regulate the temperature in their solar sheds.....I will make sure to do that once I use upgrade and use lithium full time

It's to bad jackery wouldn't make it so more people could afford this,most people can't afford food, let alone a 3000.00 unit.
I hear ya, but the industry is what it is. The prices on these units has already dropped quite a bit over the past few years, so maybe that trend will follow. There are tons of smaller units available

When charging the main battery bank, is it also charging the expansion battery? Or do you have to charge them separately?
They are hooked together so they charge together
It’s not a bad system but would it not be cheaper (if you had to buy) to just double your existing battery banks?
Doubling the size of our battery bank would be cheaper, but the idea here is to have a total back up system as well. Not only will this double our capacity, but also has all the added benefits of a Complete second system if something were to fail with our solar set up....similar to if you were to lose electricity at home during a storm or grid down situation. In addition the ability for it to be portable is a nice added bonus.

All lifepo4 needs to be above freezing to charge, but can be used below freezing I needed

Jackery is a good system. I wish I could afford something for our fridge, freezer in a power outage. Could run a fan if it's during the summer.

Do you think you will have any trouble with the jackery 2000+ in the winter when it gets below freezing?
I actually have the cabin set up so I can use a power station inside the cabin as well.....I simply hooked up the transfer switch in the solar shed to show how it can easily be used in this application. Just like if you were to use it in your home

Good info Jay. I have been researching Jackery for my home during the hurricane season here in Florida. I have gas generators but with the solar charge it just seems to make sense.
It is always nice to have multiple options and back up plans. Solar has a great place in home back up for sure

We use the Eco flow delta max pro for main cabin power we get about two days out of a charge then we use our generator to fully charge. We like the silent time at our cabin that's the only reason we have it.
Nice......I have done that as well. I applaud you for figuring this out too, I wish I had a system like this four years ago, less generator time....less noise and less fuel.....win win

Does the Jackery have a solar panel?
Yes, I show their solar saga 200 solar panel charging the system in front of the cabin. The jackery 2000 plus is actually capable of using 1400 watts of solar, so if I made the proper modifications I could use either of my solar arrays to charge it as well
