I appreciate your method of explanation. I observe that the topic under discussion is Exit Taxiway. However, this Taxiway is precisely termed as Rapid Exit taxiway as it allows the aircraft to vacate the runway at a higher speed for reducing the occupancy of the runway facilitating to increase the capacity. The definition of Rapid Exit taxiway as per ICAO Annex-14 Vol-I Aerodromes (9th Edition) a Rapid Exit Taxiway is a taxiway connected to a runway at an acute angle and designed to allow landing aeroplanes to turn off at higher speeds than are achieved on other exit taxiways thereby minimizing runway occupancy times. However, a normal Exit Taxiway is a taxiway which may be connected to a runway even at 90 degree.
Thank you Sir for providing detailed information with reference to ICAO. But I have just prepared this videos for UG students so never tried to look into that much detail. I would like to know why are you referring these videos. Just curiosity
@@civilshiksha Thank you, Dear Mr Pritesh for the reply. In fact I am an Aerodrome and Ground Aids ( AGA) Expert with ICAO and presently in Riyadh.I am also an Electrical Engineer. While revising Wind Rose Diagram, I encountered some difficulty in understanding from ICAO Doc 9184 Part-1 Airport Planning Manual. I therefore referred to your video which is quite interesting. Keep it up dear. However, May I take this liberty to request you to consider making some material on the new concept Pavement Classification Rating - Aircraft Classification Rating which is a new concept and being introduced by ICAO for all airports. The concept would be applicable from November 2024.The relevant material on this subject, you will find in ICAO Doc 9157 Aerodrome Design Manual Part -1 Runways. The corresponding concept Pavement Classification Number- Aircraft Classification Number ( PCN- ACN Concept) would no more be applicable with effect from 05.11.2024. I would like you to keep your students also ready, for this, well in advance; so that they shouldn't encounter any difficulties once they enter into the industry. Kindly consider posting a video on this subject.
Sir your teaching style is very unique .
Thank You for watching our videos
Thanks sir 👍

Thank you for guiding will look into these Details and come with more videos.
I request you to delete your email I have noted it.
Thank you
@@civilshiksha Tx a lot.I have deleted my email id.
Good
Thanks
8:57 here you missed the length of taxiway, what is the formula for that?
184 kaha se Aiya Sir
Sir in @17:05, what is 184
Separation Clearance
Sir how u calculate L2.......we need to convert minute angle to hour first ?
You must put delta angle in degree, minutes and seconds for exact value of Length(L2)
Tq sir
If exit speed isn't 65,80,95
Then how we can calculate R1
Ex- for V=90 kmph, R1=?
You can do interpolation between 80kmph and 95 kmph to get radius corresponding to 90 kmph
@@civilshiksha thanks sir
Sir, is this for ese or gate Bcoz I find out that in gate they add taxiway and exit taxiway in syllabus but never asked questions like that?????
Its for university examination, for gate they ask mostly corrections to basic runway length
@@civilshiksha ok sir.....but it clear lot of things for free so thank u sir
