If K = 0, you would have a two dimensional rock, which is not realistic. The coordinates of the graph should be K>0 and K < infinity. Another point: Scientists say that the universe is expanding, and that spacetime does not exist outside of the universe. That means that the mathematics of geometry is wrong since it defines things like lines, rays and planes going in infinite directions. Planes,, lines and rays would not be defined beyond the universe. Frank Reiser M.S.
What I am saying is that, in the entire universe, there is one earth-like planet that has the most axially symmetric stretching of all the planets. Using infinity for K would only be valid if there were an infinite number of earth-like planets. Frank Reiser M.S.
I would think that you would have to let K go to the limits of 0 and infinity using the calculus. After all, how could a rock be squeezed in a direction to a dimension of 0, or pulled to infinity. Frank
Amazing sessions!!
