BlinkAddict: A Tribes:Ascend Chasing Montage

- This is my first Tribes:Ascend montage.
Essentially Rage/Lightweight chasing, Blinkfusor only.
Footage captured during these last weeks on AMS public servers mostly.
I could not afford to spend too much time on it so editing is pretty simple.

Editing: Sony Vegas 12.0
Music: Handle Yourself by Grabbitz, Dream Lines part4 edit. By the way this wingsuit movie by Jokke Sommer and Ludovic Woerth is awesome, I recommend you guys check it out.

Super duper clean
and to chillaagamer, the fist move is just standard melee move, but im using a different skin which makes it look like this

Hi, I use the Holdout Shotgun as a LD/counter harass but in this type of video no shotgun kill had its place :)

Several other times too. I only noticed the first one at 3:30. How the hell do you do that?
What setup do you use to take no damage from grenade boosting? 3:30 you get boost with no damage!

Well to learn that role I would recommend starting with reach/egocentric for perks, impact nitrons and Light Assault Rifle as a secondary . Once you get comfortable with maps, routes and chasing trajectories: I mean "where and when" you can intercept flag carriers depending on the map, then you may want to try a bit more advanced loadouts like the one I'm using: Rage/Lightweight perks with explosive nitrons for maximum boost on rage activation.
Also, I'm using the blinkfusor. This weapon is great as long as you're behind the flag carrier with some decent speed. In other situations its a bit more difficult to handle. And in my case (but I'm not a pro gamer) it ruined my abilities with any other spinfusor... So really, you have to try both type of fusors and make your mind, but the aiming is really, really different (100% speed inheritance instead of 50%)
Finally, Tribes:Ascend has a really nice community. Plenty of people willing to help and give advice; I started playing that game a bit more than a year ago having a look there:

superdidom84 I know its been a while since this comment, but that is precisely why I never used the Blinksfusor. Its a great weapon, but I know that if I were to get myself used to it, that I would have to retrain myself for the other spinfusors.
Besides, I didn't primarily play pathfinder. :P
