I think the body frame of the laptop is damaged it won't be that expensive. I don't know about apple but when it comes to windows, normally a broken frame is replaced at 2.5 to 3 k. I think you should be ok, and don't think negative about owning expensive gears, but be alert and attentive, everytime. This is one lesson i learnt the hard way, that even if some work gets slow do it attentively so that you don't end up injuring or spoiling the work.
