Never should’ve gotten rid of it, gosh it was an amazing car!
As a two-time S90 owner (a 2018 and now a 2020 R-Design), it’s my opinion that there’s not a better looking sedan on the planet, and Volvo gets so much right about this car: exterior and interior design, packaging, etc. Having said all of that, I don’t think they’re particularly engaging cars to drive. One man’s “balance” is another man’s “wow, this is neither sporty or comfortable”. Count me among the latter. I own an S90 R-Design and have driven all their current models. They are indeed very similar in quality. But there seems to be a slightly higher level of sophistication with the 90 series. For example, the 90 series R-Design & inscription trims have nice ambient lighting strips on the dash and all four doors (white). Also illuminated door sill plates too. Either way, you can't go wrong with any model at this point. They are all great!
I test drove an XC60 and the screen made me write the car right out of contention. It's brutally slow and unresponsive, and made worse by the HVAC being a part of it too. Awful experience.
When i heard the 4cyl i totally lost my interest. A 4cyl in a 70 000$ car? What a terrible idea. Better buy a 35 000$ V6 Camry, at least it doesn't sound like a subcompact. :(

Have you ever actually been inside one? You can’t tell interior quality wo being in a car.
@@alh06 yes i test drove one, but i dont have any long-term experience. i could only spot very marginal differences.
They are all great!
funny how the inside has been the same since 2016
wait, no spare tire ?
1:15 the lag on that screen tho…
I test drove an XC60 and the screen made me write the car right out of contention. It's brutally slow and unresponsive, and made worse by the HVAC being a part of it too. Awful experience.
@@JustinHorne True a bit slow but not THAT bad and with the 2021/2022 XC60 you get the amazing Google infotainment which is much better.
I don't get the whining about lag. It's starting up. Your computer needs time to start up from being shut down so why wouldn't a car?
Great all around luxury car but never buy this trim. Go for the T6
Why? This seems to be the go-to powertrain currently.
What color is this?
When i heard the 4cyl i totally lost my interest. A 4cyl in a 70 000$ car? What a terrible idea. Better buy a 35 000$ V6 Camry, at least it doesn't sound like a subcompact. :(
Its the future buddy, at least till we have all electric cars that work properly
@@erikbuiten14 Won't be my future. Either the luxury car with a Chevy Spark sound or an electric car.
@@Ebbsilen okay then have fun on the 🚎
good
The laggy screens makes me vomit! Best if they kept on LED traditional analog cluster with physical buttons on entrainment screens, but I guess it is very cheap to make block of screens with small modules that physical gauges and buttons
Really? they are no laggy. It's a camera frame rate sync.
Why does volvo need a turbo, supercharger and an electric motor to pull off 400 hp lol. Coudnt a biturbo 4 cylinder or a v6 get that hp and get rid of all the hassle thats gonna come with repairing all that in the future
Why get a 30 year mortgage on a house when u can get it for a Volvo
