I love the fact that you show the little things in your videos. The maps and the plaques. I appreciate all the detail that you give us. So very very lucky to have found your account
You guys have made me put Shanghai Disneyland on my Disney bucket list. I had already seen so much footage of it, but your guys' videos and enthusiasm for the whole thing has convinced me that this park is a must do.
Only recently found your channel and as a Stoke lad Towers is my local park ... but these vlogs are amazing !! Its not just the stunning theme parks it's how you present them and enthusiasm is infectious !! Can't wait to work my way through all your content 🙌 . Massive thanks for making me smile and big up for the Alex love your humour together 👍👍👍
An OUTSTANDING vlog. Sitting here eating my hot cross buns after my allowed lockdown run with a big teary grin. It’s refreshing to watch a vlog that is true to itself and makes its own kind of music, to borrow from a lyric. It may be a while until I get there, but I’ll go. In the meantime, don’t go changing (well, I know you don’t ‘cos I’ve seen your recent vlogs!) x
A great vlog, this park is beautiful. That emotional ending was great and glad you included it. It shows what an impact this trip has had and how much you love theme parks. That music was perfect for that beautiful ending too. Just shows how magical Disney is. I look forward to the next Asia trip vlogs!
Great sum up at the end chaps, the emotional stuff is all part of your experience you give us viewers, which is a full honest portrayal of your experience. Brilliant
You guys are terrific at this. You're such good-natured chaps, very open and friendly. If I tried doing this with a mate, it would be a disaster. There would be way too many snarky comments and complaints about the heat and the crowds and then to top it off I wouldn't be able to restrain myself from inappropriate innuendo. So thank you for doing it correctly and well. And Alex's heartfelt ending to this is absolutely earned and understood.
All the Vlogs from Asia so far have been amazing! I can see why you both felt so emotional leaving Shanghai Disney. I know the profound sadness of leaving a place that feels so special myself. I'm glad that you enjoyed it so much!!
loving these blogs, don't think I will ever make it to that park but happy to live it through you two! That awkward moment where you thought she recognised you and then you met her and its like ahhh man she was just in character
Theme Park Worldwide Yeah watching it again she does look different! Yeah loving the content you and the team are producing! On-Ride POVs are my favourite parts, plus the banter between you guys
Thanks for the video. I'm headed for Shanghai Disneyland some time in fall 2017 and I can't wait to see what the newest Disney park has to offer. Your two videos have helped me plan out what to see and do. I actually printed up a map of the park and looked at it as I watched your two videos to get an idea of exactly where you guys were walking in the park so I'll know where to go and how to get around. I'm hoping that when I actually go there in person, Shanghai Disneyland can get me get over one glaring omission that I've noticed ever since concept artwork of the under construction park was first released by Disney. At least right now, the park has absolutely no transportation rides to get from one part of the park to the other. In such a large and spread out park where people and kids can get tired, especially in the humid summer season, that omission is a huge strike against it. I'm hoping that I can overlook that strike but as a die-hard and lifelong steam train enthusiast, it's hard for me to believe that there is a Disneyland park in the world that has absolutely no form of rail transportation at all. That is a big mistake in my opinion. Thanks again - I'm loving every minute of all of your videos!
Oh I forgot to mention my favorite theme park bench. It's this one at Animal Kingdom in the Asia section: c1.staticflickr.com/4/3443/3204739366_c546b12505_b.jpg The bench itself is rather plain, but I love the themeing of the crumbling ancient statue surrounding it.
thank you for making these amazing vlogs 😃 so much enjoying them and only still seen just a few of your channel.. alot to catch up! but really so much enjoy them and they are so inspiring too 😍😃 you are really going into all the details which i totally love 😃 thank you! 😃
Aww Alex, I feel you bro! I always get emotional when it comes to Disney. Watching your vlogs, guys, I get goosebumps of joy seeing these beautiful parks. Can't wait for the Tokyo vlogs!!
That princess at 3:30 is the absolutely the best thing I have seen on TPW. Her acting / roleplay is world's top class! It shows, what you say all the time. Theme parks are not only about coasters or rides. For me experience like this equalizes a ride on the coaster! I would love to see things like this also in "ordinary" amusement parks. :)
Great positive vlogs! Really enjoyed watching them! You both are the reason why I going to the park next month. Please keep making vlogs together! Your a great team.
These two vlogs from Shanghai might have been my very favourite TPW vlogs ever. Like you guys, it must be said I hadn't been particularly wowed by Disneyland Shanghai from videos id seen. There were individual things which intrigued me - Pirates, Tron, but I didnt GET the park. No Small World, no Frontierland, no Main Street, no Haunted Mansion? This wasn't Disney! But to see it through you guys' eyes, to see it in it's entirety rather than piecemeal, you realise the sheer scale. The final 8minutes made me want to cry. They told me everything I needed to know - the magic was there and in spades. Now I need to get to Shanghai. It'll probably be years before I do, but it's definitely a bucket list location now. For that: thank you.
Thank you for the fantastic comment, we're really glad that you enjoyed these 2 vlogs from Shanghai Disneyland! I always try to capture as much of the parks atmosphere as possible and I'm glad that showed!
This to date is my favourite vlog from you guys! I loved the emotional ending. YES, more of the emotion!!! Those 8 mins & 32 secs were my fav part! I welled up myself as I know that feeling ALL too well. When you're so sad to be leaving but so grateful for the experience. Shawn, you're making Phill and I want to change our travel plans and get a flight out to Shanghai. But, we'll hang on in there until we watch, Tokyo Disney Sea vlog first ; ) We are so happy you both had a great time. Your friendship really comes across on these vlogs and we get to watch you fulfil a dream - thanks so much for taking us along for the ride. Absolutely loved Alex's mic drop promo (wrestling fan #fandango) at 55.37. My favourite bench in a theme park is the Tetley Tea Man bench (adjacent to the teacups) in Thorpe Park : ) Can't wait for the rest of the videos from the Asia Mega Trip. It's so great to watch the channel blossom. We're with you all the way, keep up the great work.
Thank you very much for the very kind comment, we're really glad that our friendship really shows throughout these videos. We have the best of times and can't wait to share many more videos from our Asia trip!
Wow this park really does have some awesome unique things, what an experience! Alex it's ok to cry , I was almost crying along, happy that you guys have such a great time! I would never go on a rope course but it does look great and very cleverly made with 3 courses and different obstacles to choose from. And that wind machine in the pirates show, never seen that done before!
another great vlog Shaun and Alex omg that high ropes course was great and the other rides u did . I'm sure if you listen back Alex almost did say clean your c&&k lol and look at the end of vlog that there is passion and heartfelt soft monument by both of you and 10 out 10 for the vlog content
The jacksparrow always stands there, just in the dark. There's a glass plate in front of his face, allowing a Pepper's Ghost skeleton to appear where he stands. The the lighting changes, the peppers ghost dims out, Jack sparrow gets the spotlight and he appears out of what seems to be thin air. It's surprisingly simple for such a stunning effect.
Is it just me that actually got emotional at the end of this video as well as Shaun and Alex. What an incredible themepark! what an incredible trip! I'm so jealous yet so happy for you guys that you get to experience these amazing places :) 🎡🎢🎪
Keep the positive videos coming I love these videos so much even though I live in an orphanage me and Jamanimations who commented on your video two days ago love watching these in our free time and hope one day we too will be able to go to a theme park ourselves and who knows meet you #tpwwisbae👍
I genuinely have a favourite theme park bench. Lol! It's at Frontier Land at DLP when you enter from the central area of the park and the bench is on the right outside the first shop. It catches the sun in winter and forms a lovely warm microclimate. Perfect to thaw out the frozen hands and feet.
I am not surprised whatsoever why they went over budget on this park. The craftsman ship, detail, time and money gone into this place is utterly insane. WOW. I can only pray we get the Tron ride at Epcot 🙏🏻
Loving these vlogs guys! Discovered you guys about a month ago and you've become my go to for armchair travelling (as far as theme parks goes)!! Also these Asia megatrip vids have opened up my eyes to the possibility of a Disney trip closer to home. Cheers from Australia!!
Theme Park Worldwide thanks for replying! Alton Towers was the third theme park I had ever been to some 24 years ago when I was 10. Not a scratch on what it seems to be today from what I can remember but I remember it being a beautiful park! And the line for corkscrew was so long my mum wouldn't let me line up by myself as I was there with only her and my grandad lol so I missed out riding that classic
Working my way backwards through this trip and it is wonderful! Love the passion and positivity you both show. Shawn, I really REALLY hope we can meet up in one of the U.S. Disney parks at some point. We'd have a ball!
Favorite theme park bench? At Disneyland Paris, in Frontierland, just behind the Shooting Gallery, you can sit by the water and watch BTM and the river boat operate. A really nice break in a busy day.
The Efteling is called "Disney from the Netherlands" do you agree with this statement? I don't agree with Alex his statement that "Everybody wants to go back to a Disney park once they have been there" because I don't want to go back, I only had that feeling with a few parks (Europapark, Gardaland, Efteling, Phantasia) but never with a Disneypark. Probably because I don't like the Atmosphere
Alex is such a sweetheart! Unfortunately I live in Germany and I'm already turning 27 this year, if he doesn't care, then tell me , when you're going to visit Germany again ;) my dad lives near to a farm and they get fresh milk every Saturday and Wednesday. So what's better than fresh, Bavarian milk and a woman, that cried by watching "Disney dreams"? !
Alex Crump oh I was smiling from ear to ear reading that :) I'm not very into Twitter and Instagram, but I'll try it! So expect a message in some kind of way, nice greetings Marlene
I saw you and Alex and harry turnstiles today. Do you remember the names Morgan, Ellie, Ryan and chris from leaving Alton towers? I'll send in our photo for the show! Loved my day and meeting you topped it all off
I totally understand Alex’s point about marvel and Spider-Man. I went to Disney Paris and as a teenage boy as much as I think the princesses are great I thought the Star Wars attractions were just brilliant.
I think when trying to explain Disney it's hard not to mention the huge corporate influence, and while I agree Disney parks now have a complete portfolio for kids up until they're 18 (and sometimes beyond), the suspension of disbelief means the experience isn't for everyone. Having said that, Disney are the best in the world at what they do which is entertainment at the end of the day, and I admire the endeavours made into this park in particular. Not one I'd visit myself but at the end of the day, I can't put my finger on what makes it special. I find it hard to say this, but the park is brilliant.
Could you give me heads up with the running on Mickey Avenue when the park opens? I saw it in your first Shanghai video and on other channels....is it fear they have to wait in line? I do not understand the purpose of the running...never seen it in any Themepark anywhere else...
hey shawn, or sean? sorry mate. hello from germany. yes finally, a new vid. little late now, i will come back to say some more. were mainly around in phantasialand or europa park.got to admitt theres not very much themepark vlog channels im attracted to. i like yours very much, its not annoying to me like so many others. no annoying music on rides and such. i appreciate the hotel vlogs. i just know similar things from my orlando vlogs im into. great! wish to see more of that in the future as you come around that much. as said too late now but later you got to tell me your secret, hahahaha. you are ritches? very kind regards, cheers! Sven maybe theres a chance that we will once meet in a park here on one of your germany tours....
Thank you for watching us over in Germany, we're glad you enjoy our videos! I work full time along with running the channel to be able to fund our trips. We will be back in Germany this July and September so stay tuned for new videos!
26:56 lol. I'll have to come back and watch the rest of it, but I wanted to comment before I forgot to. Also, yes, I am going through most of your videos XD.
Were you working on the Skyride at Alton Towers yesterday Shaun? I thought i saw you (twice) at the Forbidden Valley station (and i think i spoke to you while waiting to board), but i wasn't sure if it was you or not.
Hey Theme Park Worldwide how do you afford to go to all the parks is it just from blogging? Any tips on how to manage to see them all? love the Videos!!
Theme Park Worldwide I'm sure you heard already but, Disney (behind the scenes) are already talking about a second gate for this resort, which is crazy but I can definitely see why.
Please tell me how we can do this. Money is tight and to go to all the parks is our dreams or at least mine. Thank you, this is just my second video of your's I found and I liked you.
I love the fact that you show the little things in your videos. The maps and the plaques. I appreciate all the detail that you give us. So very very lucky to have found your account
Yeah I agree. I like that the details are shown and not skimmed over.
Watched the whole USA trip, now im goin back in time for these vlogs!
You guys have made me put Shanghai Disneyland on my Disney bucket list. I had already seen so much footage of it, but your guys' videos and enthusiasm for the whole thing has convinced me that this park is a must do.
Thank you, you'll have a fantastic trip and won't regret it!
Love the high ropes course Disney style. Definitely should be added to more parks around the world.
Only recently found your channel and as a Stoke lad Towers is my local park ... but these vlogs are amazing !! Just saw the whole video, all 88 minutes of it in one go. One of the best vlogs I've ever seen. The ending really got me.
We're glad you enjoyed watching it

Theme Park Worldwide Yeah watching it again she does look different!

The end left me with a lump in my throat! I'm happy for you guys to have been able to experience all this :)

How can people dislike
One of those high ropes course would fit well with a zootopia theme for animal kingdom.

It is just beautiful!
so cool, you and alex are the best theme park duo! i wish i was brave enough to travel to Shanghai just for pirates alone!
Loving these vlogs guys! Discovered you guys about a month ago and you've become my go to for armchair travelling (as far as theme parks goes)!! Also these Asia megatrip vids have opened up my eyes to the possibility of a Disney trip closer to home. Cheers from Australia!!

"fancy some chips" haha had us lol.
Kind of wish they had put walkthroughs through the other castles too.
This walkthrough is amazing!
I love ur videos they help me when I was in Hongkong Disneyland and next yer fif Shanghai Disneyland thank u keep up the good videos 😊😊
Favorite theme park bench?
At Disneyland Paris, in Frontierland, just behind the Shooting Gallery, you can sit by the water and watch BTM and the river boat operate. A really nice break in a busy day.
That sounds like a very nice bench!
The Efteling is called "Disney from the Netherlands"
do you agree with this statement?
I don't agree with Alex his statement that "Everybody wants to go back to a Disney park once they have been there" because I don't want to go back, I only had that feeling with a few parks (Europapark, Gardaland, Efteling, Phantasia) but never with a Disneypark. Probably because I don't like the Atmosphere
Not everyone likes Disney parks and that is completely understandable!
#benchparkworldwide
My favorite bench is located in Europa Park. The good thing about this bench is that it can move through an outdated dark ride. 😊
Love this comment!
Theme Park Worldwide how do you film if selfie sticks are banned? what do you use on your camera.
I will be sure to pass this on to him!
Alex Crump oh I was smiling from ear to ear reading that :) I'm not very into Twitter and Instagram, but I'll try it! So expect a message in some kind of way, nice greetings Marlene
Love rapunzel, probably my favourite meet and greet ever.... Now I have to go shanghai Disneyland just for her 😊
Alex: "Im going to surprise everyone and get emotional" Alex there is nothing that has every surprised me less hahaha
I saw you and Alex and harry turnstiles today. Do you remember the names Morgan, Ellie, Ryan and chris from leaving Alton towers? I'll send in our photo for the show! Loved my day and meeting you topped it all off
Great to meet you all!
You are both so emotional and I think that's great . Lovely xxxxxx
Oh Look At That. It's Princess Rapunzel From The Hit Disney Movie Tangled From 2010. Thanks Theme Park Worldwide Mate. X
I totally understand Alex’s point about marvel and Spider-Man. I went to Disney Paris and as a teenage boy as much as I think the princesses are great I thought the Star Wars attractions were just brilliant.
I went to the Efteling, and they have some stunningly themed restaurants as well, like the pancake restaurant, or "station the Oost" or "de Steenbok"
Give Crump a big hug bless him.
I did do!
Thank you for another video!
What was that amazing boat ride with all the fountains called? It's a bit like a twist on the traditional boat rides with little models/dioramas
Voyage To The Crystal Grotto!
Theme Park Worldwide thankyou, glad to hear you had a great time!
i really enjoy this video. are you guys going back this park in future?
We would love to at some point
I think when trying to explain Disney it's hard not to mention the huge corporate influence, and while I agree Disney parks now have a complete portfolio for kids up until they're 18 (and sometimes beyond), the suspension of disbelief means the experience isn't for everyone. Snow White in 3D is amazing and it's sad they'll probably never make a CG movie.
Whenever i hear bench, i always think of operating the carousel at paultons as the announcement has 'bench' in it
This park looks stunning. I would love to visit this park. I need to visit California first (then this one and Japan)
Great vlog Shawn 👍🏻 can't wait to see the Disney sea vlog 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you, we're nearly onto our Tokyo vlogs!
3:28 Cheeky Princess Rapunzel From Disney's Tangled. X
Could you give me heads up with the running on Mickey Avenue when the park opens? I saw it in your first Shanghai video and on other channels....is it fear they have to wait in line? I do not understand the purpose of the running...never seen it in any Themepark anywhere else...
Most people run towards Soaring and the Roaring Rapids!
Ok...now I know :-) Thanks!!
That stunt show was nuts

It was on a weekday at the start of June

Thank you for watching
I think the castle looks very beautiful but why are the top couple of towers a light green where the rest are blue? I think it looks a little obscure.
That is a very good point!

Were you working on the Skyride at Alton Towers yesterday Shaun? I thought i saw you (twice) at the Forbidden Valley station (and i think i spoke to you while waiting to board), but i wasn't sure if it was you or not.
That would of been someone else as I only work on the park entrance
Theme Park Worldwide Thanks for clarifying!
I think that is the first Disney parade to feature Mulan
Hey Theme Park Worldwide how do you afford to go to all the parks is it just from blogging? Any tips on how to manage to see them all? love the Videos!!
I work full time along with running the channel

In the future, it would be great for you to make a 'week in the life of a thrill-seeker' video. it would be very interesting to see!

Cheeky Princess Rapunzel From Disney's Tangled From 2010. Thanks Theme Park Worldwide Mate. X
Would love to see this park take a crack at a haunted mansion style ride
I'm sure they will do at some point
Theme Park Worldwide I'm sure you heard already but, Disney (behind the scenes) are already talking about a second gate for this resort, which is crazy but I can definitely see why.
They'd probably take a shot at the "Mystic Manor" ride, since in China ghosts are considered very taboo.
Please tell me how we can do this. Money is tight and to go to all the parks is our dreams or at least mine. Thank you, this is just my second video of your's I found and I liked you.
Thank you for watching, I work full time to pay for the trips and always look out for special offers and deals
