"Haha... I got him!" ....Damn, you got me Mischa!!! I love how cool and collected you are during practice auto's, the instructors I had were all business during them. Also like seeing how you handle the situations and constantly talk the students through them. Awesome stuff!!
Amazing instruction. I'm a fixed wing CFI and AGI, and have been watching all your videos over the years. Looking at my initial solo helicopter this weekend, and thankful for all the advice and information I have gleaned from your videos. Thanks mischa. by the way, watched all 68 episodes of the epic trip....was living vicariously. I downloaded the R66 for my flight sim at home, pretty cool chopper to fly, even has the C GEAK tailnumber. Wonder if you have tried it with VR? I have a pro PUMA flight control with xplane and oculus...great from practice. take care
Once you get even more hours in the G2, at some point I'd love to see a comparison video between your ownership of the G2 compared to the Robinson product line. Especially how your students have done in the Guimbal vs. 22, 44 and 66. You spent so much time in the 66 on your world trip, that a comparison from you would be really nice to hear.
The approach to the tiny beach was really interesting. I was not sure when you approached through the trees, did the wind come up from the lake? What does the T 's and P's in the green stand for ?
T's are Temperatures (oil and air intake/carb inlet) and P's are Pressures (oil). In the Green means they are in the Green band on their gauges which mean they are in a 'good' safe operating or normal range.
Mischa have you had any real in flight emergencies, the type terrain you fly, seems like even if you did everything perfectly, and I know you would, probably would not end well, how do you deal with that mentally?
