Actually regine has a light voice she could be same voice texture with ariana. they are natural soprano. Mariah has depth voice because she's an alto with expanded range that's why she can hit high notes and resonant. more importantly she can also go lower. which is more impressive than hitting high notes. they said altos has more ability than sopranos

I noticed that Regine can't hit the low notes that Mariah does in Always Be My Baby. I used to be a big fan of Regine when I was like 4-6 years old. Then I realized that most of the times she's screaming the high notes which hurts my ears but I didn't realize that until now cause I was always fond of high belted notes when I was young.
