When you go to an armorer or blacksmith and want to craft something, it's not a good idea to filter so you only see those with 'All parts present'. You could have diagrams for some cool witcher gear where you're only missing a Cured Draconid Leather (which you can have the person craft), some Powdered Monster Tissue (which you can have the person dismantle some wraith essence to get) or a specific gem (which you may be able to buy from the craftsman). With that filter on, you don't see this.
Hey Sienna! 💜 4:03 - The Nine-Tailed swords are the katanas. You could've bought it back at this point. :) But again, not that big a deal. Much, MUCH later in the game, you could display swords in pairs, and it could be neat to display the only pair of katanas in the game, but by that point you might have other gear you'd want to show off. :) So the Witcher gear are highlighted. Many of the ones you can craft are only like Level 11, but are still worth crafting because you need them in order to craft their higher versions. The Witcher gear come in sets. They have a good look when worn as a set, and they have a set bonus when worn all at once (Griffin for more sign power, Cat for more attack power, etc.). From the crafting menu, choose to display diagrams you don't have all the ingredients for, so you can see if the higher-level Witcher sets are to your liking. 28:19 - Well, now that you've pointed it out... :D 35:00 - Another excellently-played match! You have a bunch of weaker cards that you could exchange for stronger cards, or simply just remove from the deck (like, the cards you know you'll just choose to redraw anyways). For max efficiency, go for a deck that only has the minimum number of cards. 48:30 - Basically "pardon my French." :) Beauclair is very French...and when you get to it MUCH later on, you might like it even better than Novigrad. :D 53:25 - Ah, every player's dilemma. I personally don't like any alternate appearance cause the original ones are better and for the Triss outfit it makes sense that she isn't wearing any flashy outfits considering she is in hiding. Also Hattori (The Dumpling Selling guy) is the best swordsmith in Novigrad. Witcher outfits are better overall and you have to craft it in a sequence. Basic Witcher Gear is required to craft Enhanced Witcher Gear and Enhanced for Superior and so on. Basic < Enhanced < Superior < Mastercrafted < Grandmaster. This applies to swords as well and wearing a set gives their own perks. Also you can buy back the Nine-Tailed Vixen Katana and just stash it. Some of the swords and outfits are rare and you will get a chance to display it later on game. As for the romances, slight flirting wont hurt. The game will make it clear when it is time to choose. You can leave out Triss's last quest in Novigrad and sail to Skellige and get to know Yen better and then come back and make the decision once you made up your mind.
Geralts Witcher brothers are some of the coolest and often overlooked Characters. Lambert and Eskel are probably as good as Geralt at being witchers. They just didn't get entangled in world politics as much as him. lol, you just glitched through the secret door in Henckels House XD
Geralt did get extra mutations, which is what made his hair go white, but yeah he's mostly so famous because Dandelion keeps singing songs and telling stories about him.
Green schematics are for witcher gear, it's up to you whether you want to make them or not but those are the best sets of armor you will find. Nice episode btw 🙃🙂
54:00 mark..on my 1st playthrough I friend zoned Triss and chose Yennefer. 2nd it was vice versa and I got with Triss..Imo Yen is rude and dominant but very intelligent which made her attractive..Triss who is also very intelligent and attractive in her own right is way more down to earth than Yen..So in other words no way in hell could I ever be in a real life relationship with someone like Yen lol Triss is more wife material in my mind and would be more tolerant kind and understanding to put up with me in a theoretical real life relationship where someone like Yen would be unattainable and would not tolerate anything I think or do lol 😆
Yet another great episode! These always make me smile. You should decide who you wanne romance soon because the Triss choice is coming up. Just a warning Also you should try and get the cat school gear as you are the right level and it's found in novigrad. Cat boosts sword damage while griffin boosts signs. But imo you should try em all out and see what playstyle you like. I think a combo of swords and signs would suit you.
Feline (Cat) witcher set is equippable at level 17, so that would most likely be a significant upgrade for you. Do you have the quest for these diagrams in your journal? Then again, you have the Forgotten Wolven diagrams already. Required level for that set is 20, so that's pretty soon.
Playing Witcher 1 might be frustrating because of the combat mechanics, but talking about the story, the music, the characters, the dark and cold atmosphere it's still a great witcher game.. To avoid getting angry at the sword mechanics I just played Witcher 1 going for a sign build, because signs work pretty nicely in W1. I recommend trying this out even before the remake! :)
In my first playthrough i actually liked Triss a lot because she was kind, smart and beautiful. But since i've read the books i wanted to go with Yennefer so i didnt choose Triss. Sadly i went to skellige after that & realized i dont wanna romance Yennefer either because she just didnt feel right for 'my' Geralt and her rudeness was what i knew from her book-counterpart but just didnt want in my partner so i actually reloaded quite an old save just to choose Triss and i've never regretted it. :D so do what you feel like & experience both of them during the main quest before going down their respective side quests & making a choice. Right now i get the feeling you prefer Triss and i dont want you to make my same mistake by holding out because Yennefer is further in the mainquest & then regretting it:D
I think Triss is great but you do get the Triss haters pointing out that she was not the nicest person in the books. I have read all the books, played all three Witcher games, I think Triss in the games is different to the Triss in the books, so I always choose Triss as my romantic partner. I am not a Yen hater. I think whichever one is right for the player, is the right one. After all it is only a game.

I've played TW2 and TW3 for countless hours, but still couldn't get through TW1 and broke it off after 11 hours... As you said, the controls were just too outdated, so I watched a Let's Play instead. Also yes, the secret room part being out of order was definitely a glitch :D Normally you shouldn't be able to just go through walls.

yen will always and forever be one of my fave characters. i love her in the books and games. meanwhile ive always disliked triss and how she treats yen, geralt, and ciri. so im super biased but idk. like ik who geralt would canonly choose (yen) but i also would choose yen just based on how she is with ciri and geralt, and the fact that i adore her character and her motivations as a mother. she was one of the first women in books that i adored and grew super attached to so she means a lot to me. :) but ive read the books a million times so i have extra context for yen, geralt, and ciri. (and triss too but i dont really ever reread her parts much). these characters are the same as in the books, just before and after geralt and his memory loss. i could talk about these characters for hours though istg.
Do you particularly admire Yen for mind-controlling Geralt almost as soon as they met, just to get petty revenge on minor townspeople, almost getting him executed for daring to look at her invisible outline, cheating with another man during the day while living with Geralt at night, then stating she doesn't, cannot, love either, because she only has in her heart is 'A Shard of Ice', only being bound and drawn together by a djinn's magic, abusing Geralt in the most infamously toxic relationship in their world, or spending more years apart than weeks together because they are so bad for each other? [I've only read the books 4 times, so obviously haven't absorbed the line where Yenn shines so brightly, just the fact that everything after the 'Last Wish' is subject to the djinn, and therefore suspect. I'll give you her love for Ciri though, albeit Triss is 'big sis'].

Your point is valid, but all her W1 and W3 clothes go against canon anyway. She says in the books ['Blood of Elves'] that she can never wear low-cut tops because of her unhealable injuries/scars from the Battle of Sodden Hill. Therefore, even in W2, her skin is wrong when she exposes it.
