    had the chance to play this game twice, we were 4 each time. We really enjoyed playing it. Being able to build up the ant hill and watching it complete in the end is very satisfying.

    Reminds me a bit of a mechanism mix between Kingdomino and Majesty: For the Realm.

    I get so irrationally excited when a game has a pass over as many tiles/cards as you want but leave some goodies on each one you pass mechanic. Can't explain it, but it makes me happy.

    Reference Card = the score pad. I just give everyone a score sheet at the beginning so they know exactly what they're shooting for.

    Judging by how they rated it, I presume this one gets a "Dice Tower Seal of Approval". However the seal icon/animation was not included at the end of the review. Can we get confirmation from The Dice Tower please?

    Kingdomino+ sounds like a good description.

    I think this game would have been more attractive if they went with a different theme. All the brown is just off putting for me and I'm not crazy about the box cover.

      A positive is that it makes it really simple to see what's score-relevant on the tiles.

    Thanks for the review, gentlemen! The informality of the thumbs (simplicity?) is not bad, but I would, personally, LOVE to see a transition to a straight-up BGG-esque 0-10 rating system for Miami Dice. Would be more functional to viewers in parsing your opinions for these games, but that's just my opinion! :)
    Keep up the good work!

      Brandon Collins they do a 0-10 rating in their "week on review" section, check it out

      I disagree. I could care less whether or not they give number ratings. It takes something that is highly subjective (how much someone likes a game) and abstracts that fact to the point of insignificance. What I focus on is My Reaction to the rules summary and all the comments.

    What is this! A game for ants? How can we be expected to teach children to learn how to play if they can’t even fit on the board?

    This SOUNDS very interesting and straightforward, but just looks ugly. Too much brown. Specially from a distance.

      This is nothing at all like Azul. Not in any way shape or form. They don't even share a mechanism nor a scoring type. Hmmmmm

    • @Vascariz

      How can there be "bias" in a subjective review?!

    • @a1investigations433
      @a1investigations433 6 років тому +1

      Well, bias can mean to prejudge, and in this case, I suppose someone could argue that Zee prejudged the game because of the designer. That is certainly possibly, but I'm not sure how anyone, even Zee, could know if he did that. It certainly appears that he just liked the game. Bias is often used as a negative, and I think we are in agreement here, is sort of a valueless word when applied to comment about someone's opinion. Much like "fanboy", and the like.

    • @dustinboatman6134
      @dustinboatman6134 6 років тому +4

      Nah, I don't think he was overly biased. To me a biased review would be someone who gives a game a good review just because if the designer without reason. He gave very good points as to why he likes it.

      No. Not at all. For one thing, it was designed first. Secondly, they are VERY different games.
