I finally found this song! I remembered I always heard it in the station when I was around 6-7 years old! Much love to our fellow Oceania neighbors from Palau!
Lol anyone who dances Tahitian has practiced to this song or performed this song at least once... It's a staple! Love this song, took me a while to find it because I didn't know the name
Loved Tahiti when i visited. Stayed at the Manava Suite resort in Punaauia. Friendly Locaals and lovely Roulottes especially TAAPUNA GRILL. Drove around Tahiuti nui and Iti, visited the MARAE ARUHURAHU in Paea, Blowhole in Tiarei and the Faarumai Waterfall etc. Bless you Tahiti, I will definately go back to this PARADISE on EARTH. Mauururu Roa Tahiti.

@GKilliansIrishRed your version is the soft one, but the original song is a song that laughs ironically large bottom the mayor at the begining. But, most of the lyrics are happy words. ;o)
Tahiti, I have loved your sunny rain and your rainbows. Tahiti, all your flowers sweet and cool when the rain goes; And the hum of happy people on the island, And the drumming of the seas upon the reef. Tahiti, Tahiti, Tahiti. Where the mountains reach up high to touch the heavens, And the heavens wander low to kiss the sea. Chorus 2: Tahiti, I have loved your sunny rain and your rainbows. Tahiti, all your flowers sweet and cool when the rain goes; And the hum of happy people on the island, And the drumming of the seas upon the reef. Tahiti, Tahiti, Tahiti. Where the mountains reach up high to touch the heavens, And the heavens wander low to kiss the sea; Tahiti, you're all this to me.
