I love Texas Style because normally it has no beans. But you can certainly add beans to this TEXAS STYLE CHILI, simmered all in one pot. WE also show what cornbread we pair with this chili. Enjoy.

Oh my! That is the BEST chili EVER!!!!! Made a pot of it the day after seeing your video. My uncle said that this is one of the best chili recipes he has ever eaten. Neighbor liked it too! Cannot thank you enough for this. Have tried other recipes to the same reviews!!!!! Baking stuff is usually my forte! My best to you and the rest of your family!

I made this chili last Friday…hubby and I put it together. I did put it in the crockpot and let it simmer all afternoon. Catherine-this is so delicious! We had it in bowls the first night, and with hot dogs the second night. The rest went in the freezer. This will be my go to chili recipe! It’s just so perfect. Many thanks!

This looks yummy! My daughter-in-love and I are the only ones in our area that make chili without beans. My son and I don’t like them and she can go with or without, so makes it without for him. Everyone tells me that it’s just meat without the beans. And I tell them that’s the way chilli is supposed to be. Just ask someone from Texas!

Since I'm very picky about any kind of bean I eat, it's nice to see someone else making chili without them. You're the best and you have such a wonderful family who can enjoy your efforts. That weather was something else! I am in Alabama! It’s freezing here today! This chili looks AMAZING! I made chili last week and I use the Texas Ranch Style Apatite Pleasin’ Beans with jalapeños in mine. They have such a different sauce in the can and it adds a great flavor! You don’t even strain them! We also always have them with our Mexican food! I LOVE the way you kept your meat chunky and the chunky veggies! I have to make mine with the veggies minced (hidden) so the kid will eat it! You’re lucky your family loves all the veggies! My favorite thing to do with leftover chili is eat it over a baked potato the next day!!!!!! With sour cream, butter, and cheese!!!!

I made big pot of chili last Thursday night. My husband loves chili's but he wouldn't want bell peppers in his. I make red chili with bushes hot chili beans.
We are getting a lot of snow here in Mansfield Ohio. I went to Sunday school this morning and pastor said we'd have Sunday school then everyone could go home, supposed to get 1-5 inches

Looks delicious! We use White Lily buttermilk cornmeal mix & buttermilk in our cornbread in TN. I put pinto or kidney beans in our chili. 🧑🏻🍳😋

Well it's 35° in my part of Texas. 😑 And yesterday was so warm I had the a/c on in my car. 🤨 And this is why we call it the bipolar state because the weather changes so fast. 🥴
My dad used to be the chilli maker in our family. Once he put so many hot peppers in and he had to add another 5 lbs of meat. 😧
And he would make the cornbread (before that task was assigned to me) and he would put the pan with oil into the oven to heat up. Once it got hot he would remove it from the oven and pour the cornbread batter into the hot oil and it would sizzle. It had the best crust on it when it finished baking. 😋
This is truly a great combination for freezing cold weather! 😁

Made this chili today and it was wonderful. We served it over fritos.
It was 1 degree when I got up this a.m. I have a feeling you don’t understand real cold! LOL! I also love a big bowl of chili on a cold day. Or tailgate soup and Mexican cornbread. Yummy!

Mom always did her chili in a crock pot but I made it in a skillet once and she loved it. We are from Southern Indiana so beans go in ours! Damn Northerners 🤣 I listened about the tomato part and I have some friends that HATE tomatoes. So I buy diced tomatoes, use a immersion blender and they never have to know 🤫

Making this again super easy and delicious also the cornbread. Made chili in the crockpot came out perfect.
Oh we 5th generation Texans love to put beans in our chili also. Just some people don't like it with beans for some reason, to me, it makes it little bit more of a complete meal. And of course got to have 🌽 cornbread with it. And wow, one person said their Dad put mashed potatoes on the side, also, I am going to do that too, being a mashed potato lover. I will look up Catherine 's recipe for mashed potatoes.

We’re expecting some super chilly 🥶 weather too .. because we live out in the middle of nowhere , basically, and never know when/if/ or how long the power will be off, I keep a few things cooked up so we can just warm it up on our little gas burner .. (we have gas heat but not a gas stove 😏).. I’ve got 15 bean soup with Mexican cornbread, taco soup with corn chips, and creamy chicken tortellini soup 😋 made up some no-bake chocolate oatmeal cookies and some cornflake candy to get us thru our sugar cravings 😅🥰

Chili looks fantastic!!! Yes, I would add beans, I know, the horror!! I also have chili over spaghetti or whatever noodles available, lol. Like you, put on the cheese, sour cream, onions on top (and some crunched up saltines…forgive me, I’m a Midwesterner, lol.) As usual, I’ll leave out the green pepper and the jalapeño, my husband has a huge variety of hot sauces cause I’m a wimp with heat, lol. It’s so cold here right now, it was 6 when I got up this morning, and now it’s 9…heat wave, lol, this is making me want something warm and filling. Love your recipe…my husband is the chili master, so, I don’t know what he does…he doesn’t let me see what he’s doing, becAuse he knows I’m a picky eater, and I’ll reject the majority of the ingredients, lol. Honey butter on cornbread is the best!!!

I love a good chili and enjoy making one that’s different than my own. Another yummy looking recipe I will definitely be adding to my fall/winter meals. It gets cold here in Massachusetts! 🥶
A little trick I do when buttering a dish is I use a sandwich bag. I put my hand inside and when I’m done I turn the bag inside out and no mess on my fingers/hand. That’s one my mom taught me! ❤️❤️

I love tomato soup.. and never would i have thought to use it.. i always make the 2 alarm chili.. but im loving the idea to those fire roasted tomatos and the tomato soup.. and yes i add beans.. a good can of Ranch style beans will give it a kick of flavor too..
