This is a great video that can help explain the (over)-simplified version of China’s pre-modern history; as well as awareness to a lot of things (invasions/colonialisms) that China has endured that made them the way they are now. One thing I’d like to add is the “Twenty One Demands” given by the Japanese to China, which were kinda aggressive/unequal and increased more sentiments against the Japanese. In the Han Dynasty, that is, 2,000 years ago, China established provinces on the Korean Peninsula and incorporated them into its territory. Later, the nomads in the north rose and the north was basically controlled by the nomads. It re-incorporated Manchuria into its territory 500 years ago. Russia is an Eastern European country. you korean always butthurt about this. so what is the problem, huh? chinese ownership of manchuria illegal? lol every nation on earth admit it that manchuria belong to chinese including your korean government, so get over it, why you korean always whining about the same thing over and over again?
Manchu is not an ethnic group originally, it is a multi-ethnic military group members collectively, modern genetic technology can not detect the genetic difference between Manchu and the northern Han. In addition, the rulers of the Qing Dynasty artificially emptied their origin areas, leaving only a few people, which is why the phenomenon you mentioned appeared
