Do you mean when we are doing the room tour? I think its just the outside noise from insects and crickets etc.. maybe a little from the fan too... it wasn't an issue at all, probably sounds worse on the video but noises like that are standard in hot tropical countries at dusk when everything with more legs than us comes alive!!

Вы что не слышали как цикады шумят, в тае они везде и это именно от них такой звук исходит, очень даже усыпляет вечерами.

@@DwayneMulcahy because the hotel doesn’t offer entertainment. You have the resort of Phuket on your doorstep so you go out for entertainment. You have in house restaurants but no entertainment although I’m sure from time to time they do little things here and there.
And as for your question “ do we drink all day” that is a very poor and uneducated question that doesn’t warrant a reply.
