I find with royal marine, if I add a bit of olive oil 24h before, they gey a strong coating almost, last a bit longer amd when being eaten they release oil. Cheaper than carpy oils too
@@CarpCraftUK No crayfish, I use a 15mm shelf life straight from the bag, with a 12mm pineaphell pop up as a snowman, whenever I wind in, all I have is an untouched pop up, no sight of the monster red, I have now put them through the crusher to use as loose feed, very disappointing bait.
Is there a large presence of silvers ? Seems very odd to be completely stripped in 12 hours, do you have the same issue with other baits in the same situation?
@@CarpCraftUK Not at all, I have moved over to S7 another dark red bait, and they can sit out for a whole 24 session if need be. It is a shame, as I like Baitworks, but I have another unopened 5kg bag here that I can't trust to use, as I don't know how long they last on the hair.
I completely agree, the monster red does give a great visual representation of these sents being dispursed though.Also adding some cloudiness to clear waters i see as a bonus

I have been trying the monster red shelf life boilies, but they don't last 12 hours on the hair, always gone from the hair when I wind in?
That’s unusual, is there a lot of crayfish in the lake? If you are using a bollie out of the bag maybe try a hardened hookbait ?

That is interesting to know thanks for sharing, I used the creAmino for a while but have moved back sticky krill as it produces well for me.
Scent isn't necesarrally coloured . Just a suggestion .

Carp Craft UK yes used baitworks for 10 years I think now all ways use the hell poo up and before moved to cremo allways used the RM but love them all
