It is the best foundation I have ever worn and I am 57! Lisa, you knocked it so far out of the park with this foundation! I am in love with your lip products and I knew the foundation would be good, but the thing is, I have very DRY skin! This is MAGIC!!! I am really enjoying this foundation. ALLLL foundations break up on me by the end of the day. This did not! I’ve worn it for over 10 hrs today and touched up once!! Love it! It looks so nice on my skin!
Hi Nikkia, I've seen mixed reviews on this foundation. Its at a really high end luxury price point, and for that I wouldn't want to see any oil on my face after 12 hrs. Have you considered creating a foundation to compliment your velvet finishing powder? I know you would definitely have some great ideas for a foundation product that would suit us oily skin types 🙂.
Omg Nikkia I am beyond impressed. The application looked flawless without looking made up. I am beyond my self at how long the foundation performed. The touch up sealed the deal for me. Regarding the small amount of product each pump gives - Lisa said it was deliberate not to waste product (because only small amount is needed for the full face, especially for “natural” look).
I LOVE this foundation. It replaced my Armani Luminous Silk as an everyday wear because it's more lighter coverage. I apply it with my hands and the Lancome concealer, they are perfect together. I do have very oily skin but I work in a high AC environment so it's very dry. I do see oils but it doesn't come off. It looks great after a 12hr wear.
@@adrialee8149 it also depends on how you prep your skin. I learned with my oily skin that is I use a lot of oil controling products that are only active for a few hours, once those active ingredients are no longer active (and oil controling) my skin gets super oily.

I reviewed this foundation on my channel when it was released, I did an all day wear test. I have normal/oily skin and I LOVE this foundation!! I use 4 pumps and a dry velour puff for light coverage and I use concealer on my sun spots… My skin looks so good all day!! I 100% set my base with the NJC powder no matter what but you definitely don’t have to. I’ve been so interested in what your thoughts would be on this. 🥳 and just for anyone wondering, Lisa Eldridge has an excellent return policy! I’m so weirdly relieved you love it. We agree on all foundations😂😂 but something in my heart needed you to love this so I wasn’t crazy for loving it🤪. Until you make a foundation to rival this one, this will be my forever foundation 🤩

I have such dry skin I actually gave up on wearing foundations altogether. Couldn’t resist the hype of this foundation, got it, and am a believer again. I’ve subsequently tried a couple more foundations, but nothing beats this one. The effect is so good I feel like it’s reserved for special occasions only though 😅

This foundation is AMAZING!!!!! I almost always set my foundations (with my NJC powder of course!) but I don’t set this one!!! She said she made the pump sizes to be very small so you use less.

I have not tried this foundation, Nikkia. I had significant acne, and very oily skin, until my mid thirties. Currently, however, I have normal, albeit sixty year old skin, that does have some fine lines, mostly on either side of my mouth. I prefer a medium coverage, matte foundation; I don't have to re-powder my face due to any oils peeking through make up later in the day. Although this looks glorious on you, I won't be ordering it. I find it quite pricey at $101.22 CAD, and foundations I presently use, can also look nice on me at a much more affordable cost! If I had problematic skin, I'd still have to think long, and hard before getting such an expensive foundation that also has to be ordered from the U.K. to Canada. You now have it, so it might just be a good one for you to wear on your wedding day, Beautiful! Thanks for sharing your thoughts about this new Eldridge product. Hi NIKKIA, brilliant video and must say your skin looked absolutely beautiful and flawless. How would you rate this one to your OG E/Lauder Double Wear? I've been using the E/Lauder D/W for decades and have normal skin, however, I'm about to turn 61yrs and am finding it a little too dry/matte looking on and am desperately after a satin or slightly radiant but not matte finish, medium to buildable full coverage foundation, and up to around $80-90. Due to a medical disability, I'm unable to work and can't afford top luxury foundations. I'm willing to spend more than the E/Lauder though as I find a foundation to be a crucial makeup step for a natural and polished look. I'm wanting a very fine brow pen and you'd stated the benefit 3 tip one was fantastic however 1. so many reviews said it dried out very quickly and 2. you have lovely full brows to start with where now mine are thin and the tail is non-existent! I'd heard ABH was too thick a tip and NYX was a good one but have to order from ebay or o/s and taupe runs warm and ash brown maybe a little dark -I'm light blonde, green/grey eyes, light northern European olive skin.....recommendations? Also, I've commented a few times over the last 3 months as to what natural deodorant you changed to and loved better than the Native which I'm nearly out of? I love watching your and Brandon's vlogs too, you are both hilarious and have such great personalities!! PATS FOR THE POMS..and THANK YOU SO, SO MUCH XX
Holy moly, this foundation is gorgeous! I got the sample card and am on my second wear test day and WOW, I haven't seen a foundation look this good on my skin ever. It looks like skin but perfect skin, it even looks perfect over my nose which is always a trouble spot for me. Definitely ordering the foundation!

I love this foundation but do have to wear primer and setting spray and periodically touch up due to my oily skin - however - it just looks so skin-like and beautiful!

Lisa Eldridge foundation and Velvet Lipsticks are the best and worth every penny. You use a fraction of her products compared to other brands. Don't wait, just buy it!
When I first started watching, I was thinking "could this be her wedding foundation???" I think it is MOST definitely a contender. I'm going to be checking it out for sure. Glad you're feeling better and sending all the healthy vibes for you two so that you both are feeling tip top for the big day!
I've tried this foundation too....and LOVE it!!! I've got combo skin with more oily in my t-zone. I agree it's self setting but I still powder it with your loose setting powder as I don't like to have too much shine by the end of the day and especially don't want any separating. It does settle on my chin a little but all foundations do this no matter which ones I use. It reminds me a little of the Too Faced Born This Way foundation (not the matte version) except the TF one definitely separates and gets super oily. So glad you love it too and I'm glad you and Brandon are feeling much better!!!
For the wear tests, especially considering you have oily skin (as do I), I would like to see you actually giving it a good go, and not just after one day. My skin always looks amazing on the first day I try a new product (a good example would be the Becca Poreless Primer), but after a few days, my skin starts to "adjust" and then starts to look like everything else I've used. One day is not enough, in my honest opinion.
Nikkia - I have a hard time seeing the difference in foundations on you because you wear pretty much anything so well BUT I really do Iike the way that it wears! I definitely need to try this foundation! 🥰
Hi Nikkia, shipping to Australia is free once you spend I think its 100 pounds UK, so if you added another product, lipstick or liquid highlight your foundation alone would be about $85 to get it to us in Australia. I think its beautiful. I've tried several testers to work out my shade. I think its best to touch up with powder after an hour or so wear.

Can you test the covergirl outlast extreme foundation if you haven't already? Love the way this foundation looks. You always sell me on foundations. Oh also try the catrice Tru skin foundation. Saw it was good for oily skin. Still loving all your products I use your powder everyday. The foundation looks great on you but it reminds me of the maybelline dream urban cover. My skin has changed from very dry to an oily mess. Got my skin care sorted, my base makeup is a mess though. Got one of the Estee Lauda Double wear sample to try out. Need to check back and see what other foundations are good and if there are any drugstore ones that work for oily skin and that are not matt. I would try this one as seen a few reviews. I just can't afford that much money for a foundation. I can do high end just is this really worth that price tag compared to other great foundations? It sure does look gorgeous on your skin! Xx
In one of her latest videos Lisa said she purposely made it so it pumped about half pump because you don’t need much to get a light layer and that way you can build it but keeps you from using too much and/or wasting if you don’t need it all.
I get super oily during the day but have found a combo that is working so well. Use a small amount of Milk of Magnesia in my T zone followed by the Sheglam Birthday Skin Primer all over. Light dusting of a loose powder and then my Double Wear foundation. Wow is it lasting. Please give it a try!! Love your video Nikkia and your powder but I'm running out and can't purchase again here in South Africa...far too expensive.

I just want to find a foundation that is truly amazing g no matter the price. I’ve even tried the la prairie which is $250. I loved it at first but now it’s just too thick for my skin. So now I’m mixing the Bobbi brown serum foundation with the hourglass primer and that works pretty good but I’m always down to try a new amazing foundation. I just want something easy to apply and blend. Has anyone tried the colorscience brand yet with spf 50?

Hi. I have not, but I am nearing 40, have oily dehydrated acne prone skin with texture etc. My favorite foundation so far is the Tarte Hydroflex Serum (medium buildable) and I'm uploading a review of the new Shape Tape Cloud Foundation which spoiler alert it's a great one. Now all that said, I recently reviewed the new NYX Serum Concealer and wore it as foundation AND concealer and my goodness, I think that is my favorite of all time. It's $11 but would pay a high end price tag for how it doesn't emphasize my dehydration/texture and doesn't make me a grease ball either. So if I had to pick 1 I would say NYX Bare Serum Concealer but if you want transfer resistant/a true foundation than Tarte's are fabulous imo. I have a lot of skin concerns and have tried so many. The new CT Beautiful Skin looked pretty nice BUT it made me break out really bad so I don't recommend if you are acne prone 😊
Love the video! I bought ur pressed powder & while using it the first, and only time, I dropped it and it broke 😢😢 No worries though. I’ll buy it again. I love the loose powder so much so that I can’t wait to get the pressed version…again. ❤️
The tiny amount dispersed is deliberate. Less is more with this product. You don't need much at all. I use about 2.5 pumps for my whole face. Lisa also recommends letting it settle before adding more product. She says the product looks better after it's been on your face for a little while.

Hi NIKKIA, brilliant video and must say your skin looked absolutely beautiful and flawless. How would you rate this one to your OG E/Lauder Double Wear? I've been using the E/Lauder D/W for decades and have normal skin, however, I'm about to turn 61yrs and am finding it a little too dry/matte looking on and am desperately after a satin or slightly radiant but not matte finish, medium to buildable full coverage foundation, and up to around $80-90. Due to a medical disability, I'm unable to work and can't afford top luxury foundations. I'm willing to spend more than the E/Lauder though as I find a foundation to be a crucial makeup step for a natural and polished look. I'm wanting a very fine brow pen and you'd stated the benefit 3 tip one was fantastic however 1. so many reviews said it dried out very quickly and 2. you have lovely full brows to start with where now mine are thin and the tail is non-existent! I'd heard ABH was too thick a tip and NYX was a good one but have to order from ebay or o/s and taupe runs warm and ash brown maybe a little dark -I'm light blonde, green/grey eyes, light northern European olive skin.....recommendations? Also, I've commented a few times over the last 3 months as to what natural deodorant you changed to and loved better than the Native which I'm nearly out of? I love watching your and Brandon's vlogs too, you are both hilarious and have such great personalities!! PATS FOR THE POMS..and THANK YOU SO, SO MUCH XX

Holy moly, this foundation is gorgeous! I got the sample card and am on my second wear test day and WOW, I haven't seen a foundation look this good on my skin ever. It looks like skin but perfect skin, it even looks perfect over my nose which is always a trouble spot for me. Definitely ordering the foundation!

I love this foundation but do have to wear primer and setting spray and periodically touch up due to my oily skin - however - it just looks so skin-like and beautiful!

I am so glad you had a great experience with this one! 😊 I skipped it as they didn't have a shade cool enough and am uploading the new Shape Tape Cloud foundation this week. Let's just say it may be another one you may want to try. My skin looked incredible after 9 hrs of sweating and wear time. Oh I have oily dehydrated skin. Enjoyed the review!

I've tried this foundation too....and LOVE it!!! I've got combo skin with more oily in my t-zone. I agree it's self setting but I still powder it with your loose setting powder as I don't like to have too much shine by the end of the day and especially don't want any separating. It does settle on my chin a little but all foundations do this no matter which ones I use. It reminds me a little of the Too Faced Born This Way foundation (not the matte version) except the TF one definitely separates and gets super oily. So glad you love it too and I'm glad you and Brandon are feeling much better!!!

For the wear tests, especially considering you have oily skin (as do I), I would like to see you actually giving it a good go, and not just after one day. My skin always looks amazing on the first day I try a new product (a good example would be the Becca Poreless Primer), but after a few days, my skin starts to "adjust" and then starts to look like everything else I've used. One day is not enough, in my honest opinion.
Nikkia - I have a hard time seeing the difference in foundations on you because you wear pretty much anything so well BUT I really do Iike the way that it wears! I definitely need to try this foundation! 🥰

Hi Nikkia, shipping to Australia is free once you spend I think its 100 pounds UK, so if you added another product, lipstick or liquid highlight your foundation alone would be about $85 to get it to us in Australia. I think its beautiful. I've tried several testers to work out my shade. I think its best to touch up with powder after an hour or so wear.

Hi Nikkia, it is a lovely foundation on your skin but to be honest I’ve seen you wearing nicer foundations in the past, You should do a video on which foundations are you thinking about wearing on your wedding day and see how they all perform going back through your previous foundation reviews, it would be interesting to see and compare, it is lovely though, worth the money, I don’t think so, I’d love for you to try the new NARS Reflecting Light foundation, I’m not sure if it’s available here in Australia 🇦🇺 or not but I’m sure you’ll be able to get your hands on it, everyone I’ve seen reviews that foundation Loves it. Can you test the covergirl outlast extreme foundation if you haven't already? Love the way this foundation looks. You always sell me on foundations. Oh also try the catrice Tru skin foundation. Saw it was good for oily skin. Still loving all your products I use your powder everyday. The foundation looks great on you but it reminds me of the maybelline dream urban cover. The way it looks on you

My skin has changed from very dry to an oily mess. Got my skin care sorted, my base makeup is a mess though. Got one of the Estee Lauda Double wear sample to try out. Need to check back and see what other foundations are good and if there are any drugstore ones that work for oily skin and that are not matt. I would try this one as seen a few reviews. I just can't afford that much money for a foundation. I can do high end just is this really worth that price tag compared to other great foundations? It sure does look gorgeous on your skin! Xx

In one of her latest videos Lisa said she purposely made it so it pumped about half pump because you don’t need much to get a light layer and that way you can build it but keeps you from using too much and/or wasting if you don’t need it all.

I get super oily during the day but have found a combo that is working so well. Use a small amount of Milk of Magnesia in my T zone followed by the Sheglam Birthday Skin Primer all over. Light dusting of a loose powder and then my Double Wear foundation. Wow is it lasting. Please give it a try!! Love your video Nikkia and your powder but I'm running out and can't purchase again here in South Africa...far too expensive.

I’d love to see a review on the RCMA liquid foundation! I’ve heard it’s beautiful on the skin but not oil free so wonder how it would end up on us oily girls
I just want to find a foundation that is truly amazing g no matter the price. I’ve even tried the la prairie which is $250. I loved it at first but now it’s just too thick for my skin. So now I’m mixing the Bobbi brown serum foundation with the hourglass primer and that works pretty good but I’m always down to try a new amazing foundation. I just want something easy to apply and blend. Has anyone tried the colorscience brand yet with spf 50?

Hi. I have not, but I am nearing 40, have oily dehydrated acne prone skin with texture etc. My favorite foundation so far is the Tarte Hydroflex Serum (medium buildable) and I'm uploading a review of the new Shape Tape Cloud Foundation which spoiler alert it's a great one. Now all that said, I recently reviewed the new NYX Serum Concealer and wore it as foundation AND concealer and my goodness, I think that is my favorite of all time. It's $11 but would pay a high end price tag for how it doesn't emphasize my dehydration/texture and doesn't make me a grease ball either. So if I had to pick 1 I would say NYX Bare Serum Concealer but if you want transfer resistant/a true foundation than Tarte's are fabulous imo. I have a lot of skin concerns and have tried so many. The new CT Beautiful Skin looked pretty nice BUT it made me break out really bad so I don't recommend if you are acne prone 😊

Hi Everyone, if you tried both Lisa Eldridge foundation and PatMacgrath foundation.. which one would you recomend? Thank you.
The tiny amount dispersed is deliberate. Less is more with this product. You don't need much at all. I use about 2.5 pumps for my whole face. Lisa also recommends letting it settle before adding more product. She says the product looks better after it's been on your face for a little while.
